Perhaps with the larger amount of unique victory themes in SSB4, we might see certain series' Melee victory themes return? For example, Link & Toon Link would use the Brawl Zelda fanfare, Zelda & Sheik the Melee one, and Ganondorf a new arrangement. But if it wasn't in the demo, I guess it's unlikely to be in the final product at this point...

Interesting idea. What about reboots like Kid Icarus or Advance Wars?
 
Speaking of Nintendo merch, I hope we get a new Cranky or Funky from that World of Nintendo line. All we really have are a bunch of older modeled dolls and figures.

It looks like most people are moving forward with what they had in brawl, save for a few exceptions.

What is your rules on Remake? Technically we can have Marth because of his remake during DS Era. Also Kid Icarus got reboot as well.
Also you said we can use characters from the games that released after 2000. Technically, we can use Mario Galaxy's Mario, Star Fox 64 3D's Fox. Right?

Oh man, I had that Mario, Diddy, DK, and Yoshi! I actually had a few different color variants of that Yoshi. I have no idea where they are now, but I used to love those things. Who made those anyway?

I wish I knew! I got the Mumbo only a few years ago off eBay. I wanna buy him back but he's even more expensive now :/

Oh, to be perfectly clear: I mean no Zelda characters, no Mario characters, and so on. If the series was created last century, it's not kosher (unless it never came over here in a non-re-release in the last 14 years).

Please let that happen, my god. Fox's face looks dumb no matter how you slice it. It's ugly even considering it's cartoonish, it doesn't look like a fox, he's just 3DPD, Etc.

BD&A, I believe. They were available from the Nintendo Power catalog that came on a seasonal or yearly basis for subscribers.

Yah, I must've gotten my wires crossed on the Advance Wars thing. Still managed an okay-ish roster in spite of the lack of Palutena.
