I'd love for Mach Rider to be in, as long as they're on the motorcycle for at least some of the time.
That said, if Ganondorf's not in, that would majorly bum me out. He's got the best playstyle in the series!

I'd love to see them license mach rider to some 3rd party. Make it nintendo's M rated franchise. I don't think anyone AT nintendo has what it takes to make a hotline miami-level of bloodbath game, which would be amazing for mach rider.

The character reveals for these games have been so unlike the wait for the previous two Smashes. So bizarre we've gotten Luigi and Toon Link already....in retrospect, the flood of Nintendo games last year was perfect timing for the games' development period (in regards to Sakurai revealing veterans alongside new releases).

Wario's chopper is one of his WarioWare trademarks. Not only does he dress like a biker, but there are a ton of motorcycle microgames and cutscenes in the WarioWare series. That move isn't going anywhere.

Meta Knight I could see being cut for his incredibly high tier and the fact the Smash Team has taken a lot of feedback from the tourney community, but he's much more likely to be re-balanced since he's form Sakurai's own series. Ice Climbers was said to bring up some intense development problems since you could have 8 characters on screen at once which could be problematic on the 3ds, and no one cares about ice climbers so they could be cut. I don't want either of the Mother Boys to be cut but I sincerely doubt they'll both be cut. The Mother games have a very dedicated, very vocal fanbase which Nintendo has acknowledged multiple times. I want to say there's someone in a deep tunnel at Nintendo HQ Sakurai has preparing Mother 3 for a rerelease, but I'm not holding my breath.

I wouldn't be happy to see Lucas go, but if anyone has too he's the easy choice.

Obviously I'm not dumb enough to judge this game based on previous Smashes.

I was using the Soulcalibur II tier list, where Link is dead last.

I'd give Zero Suit Samus the boot (I just don't find her fun to play as) and swap in Zoroark. Zoroark would have a lot of moveset potential, and transforming/disguising as other characters would be fun.

Hmmm, very interesting with the ZZS boot. I like the Zoroark addition though. I love Zoroark

I would also toss Toon Link, and I would bring in Darkrai.

Darkrai is also a great choice. My second favorite Legendary Pokemon. He would be pretty interesting.

You'd make my life very difficult. I LOVE Viridi and find her to be the superior goddess, but I really enjoy Miis as well. I use them on Mario Kart and stuff, lol.

Funny thing is, the Skull Kid > Lucina thing would be my second choice after Dark Samus > Toon Link.

Not sure how I feel about Takamaru over Lucario though. To me, Lucario is a great moveset who I wouldn't like to lose

I really don't like the Dragoon. It's a fun idea and has a cool effect, but much like the Smash ball once it's on screen (often) it dominates the pace and flow of the match.

As I don't want to post too often about this, I'll only be mentioning the 1 or 2 more times, so get voting before you forget! I've already had an overwhelming amount of votes and look forward to many more. For those who are lost, here's my previous post:

Quite a few of you have already partaken in the questionnaire to decide NeoGAF's favorite Smash character; only three days in and I've already received over 130 responses! I really wasn't expecting such a wave of responses, and as a result I'm going to implement a few changes to the voting process.

With everyone only voting for one veteran character, there's been a lot of "clumping" of characters with the same amount of votes (meaning, there's multiple characters with 7 votes, multiple with 4, etc.); this would lead to a pretty boring countdown to have constant 4-way ties being announced. It also seems a little lame for people to only show their support for a single character, as most people have at least a few favorites they like to jump between. Therefore, I'm going to let everyone choose their top 3 favorite characters to vote for.

How this will work is in the new questionnaire I have linked below, it now asks who your first, second, and third favored characters are. Depending on which rank you give the characters you choose, they'll get a different amount of votes. For 1st, the character will get 3 votes. 2nd will get 2 votes, and obviously 3rd will get 1. If you don't have 3 characters you want to vote for, feel free to leave some of the questions blank. Hopefully this will help make a more accurate and interesting final results list. Most wanted newcomer is still limited to 1 choice.

Now, if you've already participated in the previous questionnaire and you don't participate in this one, your vote will still be counted. If you really only care about one character, don't worry about doing anything as I'll keep tallies from the previous poll. If you have already voted and want to add 2nd and 3rd characters to your choices, come vote in this one; there's a choice in the first question labeled "I've already told you!" that will let me know you've already voted. I will still double check all responses to make sure no one is double voting. In addition to that, please PM when you've voted. Going forward, I'm going to require you to PM me to let me know you really did vote and someone isn't just putting your username in the questionnaire. A little silly to think someone would do that one a for-fun poll like this, but this is the internet...

So, all that to say, I think this will end up creating a more exciting countdown as we approach the Japanese 3DS release date. The last day to vote will be August 16. Starting the next night, I'll start revealing the winners (20th-1st) every POTD. This will mean 1st place is revealed on the last POTD before the Japanese launch. Hopefully, this will add to the hype leading to launch (as if we need any more) and help determine who is the most popular character in the SmashGAF community.
