United will turn over £100m profit soon.
Wage:turnover ratio is still one of the lowest in Europe.
They can easily afford a few big risks. Like £100m worth of risk, easily.
Easily, so easily.

Will be worrying if you stay out of it for a couple of seasons and the new BT money kicks in + the Adidas 10 year deal drop. Could negatively affect commercial dealings too. Got 3 seasons to make it in.United will turn over £100m profit soon.

With every transfer that goes by it just makes our transfer activity look better and better.
30m for 58% of Mangala? Jesus
I'm sure that Adidas deal has various clauses related to securing CL football.
.
Third party ownerships are illegal in the UK aren't they? So they must have paid out them too?

For now, you're fine.

£65m for Mangala? Crazy. You could get 0.82 Illarramendi's for that price.
It still doesn't greatly alter the element for risk. The club could go without CL money and a reduction in the Adidas deal and still make tens of millions in profit post tax and deductions. Will be worrying if you stay out of it for a couple of seasons and the new BT money kicks in + the Adidas 10 year deal drop. And it's Doyen too.Third party ownerships are illegal in the UK aren't they? So they must have paid out them too?
Yeah it is stupid, and I don't expect you to lose.I have heard posts on Redcafe hoping we lose against Swansea to kickstart our signings process, its a silly concept. That being said I think its very possible we will lose to Swansea.
Yeah you're fine in terms of financial stability/risk, but I'd be worried about other clubs becoming more competitive in that department. It still doesn't greatly alter the element for risk. Ok so you risk 100m and don't make the CL. Then what do you do? Throw another 100m away trying to secure it? Everyone saw how easily it can be done with Spurs last year. Now they aren't spending anything probably out of fear more than anything else.
On the other hand you can stick with what you have, use the squad wisely over the course of the season since you will be playing less games and then have 150m+ to splash next year when you are a much better proposition and it will be easier to persuade top class players.
Still baffles me that some think money is a problem for United.

There is greater risk attached to not being a competitive team than there is to spending £100m this summer.Ok so you risk 100m and don't make the CL. Then what do you do? Not qualifying for CL 2 years in a row will be terrible
This is almost worse than spending £100m on transfer fees.you will also have a lot of unattractive assets (Fellaini) on your books that you wouldn't be able to shift if LVG gets the sack.
Van Gaal is on record saying he doesn't really like spending big money iirc. It's not his style. Not massively surpaijng that he has taken this kind of approach. He will definitely fancy himself as somebody who can get more out of players and that type of thing. The question is why LvG isn't spunking the money then. Be hilarious if he went all Wengermode.
Good article.
Grown men in football shirts... going to the football or playing football, ok. Otherwise, u wot m8.
Grown men in football shirts with a number on... acceptable if playing, barely. Otherwise U WOT m8.
Grown men in football shirts with name and number of a player on... NEVER acceptable. U FUCKING WOT m8
Grown men in full kit with name and number... get castrated.
You seem angry m8

The problem is that the people at the club obviously don't know what's going on. First they said LvG being at the World Cup wouldn't impact plans which would stay they same. Then they said he would get to work on transfers after the WC. Now he's waiting to assess the squad.
People clearly aren't on the same wavelength.
Unfortunately....yesYou're a #3 aren't u m8
he's probably fat

*looks at avatar*
YUP
and his team probably wears those ultra tight Puma shirts.
Do and wear whatever the fuck you want, fuck everyone.
Of course he is. I think we can all agree that full kits on adult looks pretty silly, but who cares... Oh yeah, people who are too fat to get into their slim fit football shirt. I don't understand people getting so upset about crocs either. Yes they are fucking ugly, but why do you care, do you have so little to care about in your life?
I wear my Torres Liverpool jersey proudly![]()
The last time PES was good, Arsenal were good.
Its a sign.
It's not "you seem angry".
It's "why are you so angry"
Get it right ffs.

Surely that list is wrong. Last time I show, Torres was in the top 4.

Aye, but he's only Japanese. That Asia Pacific fanbase.
Why do you think we signed Park only to never play him?
Yo I wear kits out frequently, they are comfortable like gym shorts. I'll rock gym shorts and a kit go over to a friends house and shoot the shit. Then maybe we go down to a bar down the street, not like I'm changing, its just a bar.
I think the stigma is less over here because for the most part you're almost a hipster wearing a footy kit around. I get a lot of comments on the throwback United kits I have.
