If there's any Call of Duty game in recent memory that has a chance of revitalizing this franchise, it's this one. I know so many people in person who are casual gamers that outright HATED Ghosts because of the multiplayer alone. The other COD games never had the kind of response from the general public.

I don't know what people mean by this. I feel like all COD MP seems like copy/paste job.

If you play them for a while there are bug differences. Yes, they "play" the same, but maps are different, and spawns can be way different. Then you add in weapon differences from game to game, and sometimes new game types and the games can be very different. Still very run, gun, die, spawn, repeat, but also different.

Dead Space's sound designer is doing this game so I have high hopes for the sound design in general.

I find it ironic how they always hype the single player campaign so much before release and i never touch that part. I never buy COD games for the single player, it's always so boring to me.

Yeah, but it sounds like the gun has to recharge or can overheat so it's unlimited with light bursts it looks like. Interesting though.

Singleplayer audio for the set pieces was pretty good on MW3. Don Veca (of Dead Space fame) is still leading in charge of the audio at Sledgehammer. Game Informer also had a video interview with him earlier this year, where he discussed his past work and Advanced Warfare.

Yes, they've said that they've rebuilt the audio from scratch and the audio director for this game was also the audio director on the original Dead Space.
