Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Multiplayer World Premiere Coming August 11, 2014

That TTK looks even less now than the ridiculous amount in Ghosts.

In a quest to speed up the game, they've haven't stopped to wonder if they should.

i'm waiting for the CoD that's smart enough to add more verticality and a dramatically increased TTK so we can get some more skill back in the series...may never happen though

I'm out for now, I'll say it looks fun from the perspective of abusing poor newbies with all the inevitably broken combinations that will ensue

Pick 13/10/Ghosts a la carte perk/weapon system has seriously damaged CoD MP and I don't think they devs understand why.

A map full of invisible players is not good for map flow, and when you have 35 perks but 3-5 are absolutely critical to your success in a gunfight, that's 30-32 'wrong' choices a new or inexperienced player can make. Not good odds.

Oh well. I look forward to jumping over peoples heads and making them more angry about shotguns and knifing since MW2 commando knifing.

Wow, this may be the first call of duty, I dont buy. Looks like a rip off of tf, with a heavy dose of kill streaks/powers instead of mechs.

Microsoft's Gamescom conference is tomorrow, seems like something they would bring the Activision in to announce.

The uproar levels would be astounding and Activision isn't willing to affect sales. I can't see it ever happening, although it would be a brilliant move for MS. Destiny didn't do it so there's no way CoD will do it.

It's people calling Destiny the same as Borderlands all over again... Jeez

Titanfall was COD with mechs, now COD is Titanfall without mechs.

CODception.

If that affects peoples PS4 purchasing decisions I would be surprised...

I'm optimistic, but I'll hold off for now. I'll wait for impressions. The day 0 thing is dumb as shit though, I'm guessing they're just trying to push preorders.

so, this might seem a bit strange, but I think it will come so that cod will compete with destiny for my gametime.
imo game is similar to that on first glance. customization that plays role in multiplayer, loot, loadout, blah blah.

So...where are the mech suits?

Where are the wall running?

Where is the fact that AW only has no SP?

Where is the fact that AW only takes place on Earth?

Do some of you even think before posting blatant untrue bullshit?
People have to shit on CoD before it comes out somehow.

Must be a nightmare to balance these kind of games. Just so much stuff going on.

Yeah, it's pretty much main reason I don't bother with COD anymore. Advanced Warfare looks much more interesting compared to the last few years' iterations but at the same time it's a complete given that it's going to be an absolute mess balance wise and that makes it hard to commit to picking the game up.

So if you take the mechs out of Titanfall, and add in kill streaks.....you get.....Call of Duty by your measurements.

I don't know how the call of duty vets have taken to this and frankly I don't care.

All I know this is the first military shooter I have ever had a remote interest in buying.

It has seemed to cherry pick bits of titanfall, halo, killzone and battlefield and put them in one package.

This might not be the COD the vets want, but if you look at this more holistically, this COD is going to what turns alot of haters into buyers. Not only that, but by extension it helps the entire genre by legitimaizing the other series innovations to the COD crowd. That should mean more sales for everybody.
