Awesome.

too bad there hasn't been a good Mario Party lately to do this in as well >_>

They just need to bite the bullet and make a "Best Of" Mario Party, with all old characters, 1-2 Maps per game, 10 games per Mario Party, keep in major gimmicks of each game in its boards, and maybe add a few new games/characters to give WarioWare/DKC some love.

Or better yet, that "Smash Party" idea someone had here awhile back. You know, the one that was supposed to be the Wii U version's Smash Run? I really liked that idea...

I always don't get how Rigby's Fox when in attitude Fox fits more like Mordecai and raccoons don't look like foxes

Played some brawl with my fam today. Ike is definitely my favorite, although I recall always liking him. He just has such a..punk quality to him, I guess. Falcon's pretty fun too, but I can't quite combo with him as well. Surprisingly I don't care for Snake as much as I thought, but I also suspect that has more to do with him requiring some more learning.

I like brawl. Don't like unlocking characters so much, kind of a pain in the ass honestly. But y'know, whatever.

Did I miss something? The Super Smash Brothers Wii U bundle skyrocketed to become the 6th best videogame seller in Amazon US as of this talking (IIRC it was in the thousands before). Biggest freaking bump I've seen for a Wii U title so long before it actually releases.

It was just posted. People were waiting for Amazon to put it up to order it.

Aaaah, no wonder it was in the thousands, then people took notice. Well these news please me -greatly-. Hyrule Warriors also among the top 20. Now, if only we could get schedule parity with Japan...

Oh! One more impression from my time with Brawl: I really want both Ness and Lucas in Brawl. I started playing as both and they're similar, yet very different. All their attacks have different hit boxes and behaviors which really makes them stand out from one another once you get a hold of them. I am no longer in the cut lucas camp.
unless it means getting Kumatora. I'd be ok with that.

I don't know why, maybe because it's everywhere, but the whole 'Take franchise X and draw it in franchise Y artstyle' is starting to get really old. That or just plain ol' combining 2 random 'nerd' franchises together.

Adventure time, star wars, Daft Punk, star trek, indiana jones, zelda, Ninja Turtles, mario, jurassic park, my little pony, Avengers, Doctor Who, X-men, Attack on titan, Big Bang theory, Naruto, etc etc. Pick 2 random 'nerdy' franchises/things out of a hat, mix them together (any 2, doesn't matter, at all!), and you have fan-art, a t-shirt, a poster, etc. People eat it up. I think it's the most unoriginal thing ever :/ Getting really tired of it.

Just look at 'nerdy' website's apparel section. How many of these shirts follow that formula?

I dunno, maybe i'm a party pooper.

Anyone else here want the three basic Mii Fighters to get their own slots on the selection screen? I don't understand why Sakurai would exclude them from online modes when they could have their unique movesets while keeping their visual appearance from the official artwork to prevent bullying or offensiveness. Kinda like this:

Maybe they're not balanced?

I want them to be in a slot Soul Calibur style:

Select that icon, a list of your Miis will pop up similar to the name select.

So you're saying we should go for three? Yes....I agree, now go make a Daft Punk, Jurassic Park, X-Men shirt for me to wear. Stat!

I kinda feel the same way. I get kinda sick of seeing doctor and mlp crossovers whenever I try to search for art related to series I like, but I still see some fun ones here and there. I don't think they're inherently poor.

People enjoy mash-ups. I can understand your opinion though. Athens does not like them either. Best not to try to understand it.

At least that'd be new!

It just takes absolutely no originality. I mean, at least drawing one franchise in the style of another might take some skill (depending on the franchise), but combining 2 things at random is plain ol uninspired. Especially when the franchises have nothing to do with eachother, thematically, artistically, or anything. Like making the simpsons all wear robes and have magic wands and then calling them 'The Potters'

You could literally pick any two franchises out of a hat, and someone has drawn fan art that combines the two.

Mashups when they make sense can sometimes be ok. Like if they're both time travelers, or they're both from outer space... at least I can get behind the fact that you're keeping some consistent theme, but combining Iron Giant with X-men... is dumb.

Or maybe you read today's Penny Arcade.

Well if you're just doing that then yes, but if you're actually recognizing parallels in characters and themes then acting on those I think it's different.

This just pisses me off... I hate this show.

It doesn't piss me off.

But I do hate it.

You're a bad person :(

Ha! Regular Show/Star Fox crossovers always crack me up.

Is this a common thing? Because these pics are the first I'm seeing of them. Funny shit :)

Mash-ups... Mash-ups...

Mash-ups are a... terrible... thing?

I have no idea how serious you are being but stuff like that is pretty easy to find if you care enough

To be honest... I tried to watch Regular Show and didn't really enjoy it. :(

I was told I would probably like it because I like Adventure Time, but yeah that didn't work out...

As bad as the car stuff is, I don't see what choice they had. After 9 installments (Mp1-8 + DS) of the same formula, they were clearly running out of ideas. They had to do something to shake things up. Unfortunately, it didn't pan out well.

I mean, they could, y'know, not. Just not make it. Make something else.

Not serious. :-) I mean, yeah it'd be "interesting," but I'm not going to seek it out or anything, lol.

Although I do find it hilarious if -that- precise combination I described actually exists.

Just make one traditional Mario Party with online, c'mon Nintendo.

Why people are so certain of Shulk I will never know.

Two major things.

1. Gematsu Leak.
2. His inclusion makes so much sense. Xenoblade was a huge game on the Wii with a lot of positive reception. Its franchise is also getting a sequel. Sakurai really likes Monolith Soft as well.

Also add the fact in the many possible creative ways the Monado could be used in battle.

It'd just be such a waste if he wasn't in.

Mash-ups could be terrible things depend on people's tastes.
don't blame me since I found it in google to prove the point. Good Example: Brony + anything
