Not on the 3DS unless it's unlockable. However, the 3DS screen's small size could possibly mean they just decided to put it on the Wii U version. We haven't seen any solo modes on the Wii U.

I would actually love that for his losing animation in the score screen. Him realizing his mask is gone spins with his cape and disappears like in the games. It's better than clapping imo.

If for some reason they actually bothered to take the time to implement custom death animations for Stamina mode, it would be pretty cool to have Meta Knight's be his Kirby's Adventure animation where the mask cuts in two.

I think we will get the Wii U solo modes, once the 3DS version is out.
I really like the classic mode as far as we know right now. Smash Run will be fun too.
I wanted to go digital with Smash Bros. But in germany it will be 02. October retail and 03. october digital...so retail it will be...

I used to think the pyrosphere FD version confirmed him to be a boss just because that version changed the purple things that apparently affect the stage.

But the recent images show the purple things unchanged so it must just not have been updated around the time of the smash direct.

When he grabs, he usually grabs with two hands and holds them that way, instead of just one.
But you're right, maybe it's early into the animation and he still does that. I didn't touch Mario during the Smash demos so I wouldn't know.

It's pretty great that there's a 3DS bundle, but that design is just too overly detailed and... monochrome to me. It makes me wonder, though, if a Wii U bundle might be around the corner as well...

Yeah, I'm pretty neutral on it too . I guess what I wanted out of a Smash 3DS was a simple design of a big Smash Symbol in the lower right corner while the rest of the area is covered in a pattern that consist of all roster series symbols, similar to the KH3D 3DS albeit probably not black.

But if I had money to blow, I'd probably blow it on this.
