where the hell is the mayor and governor? this is maddening.

MSNBC is continuing live coverage and interviewing their own reporter who got hit with tear gas.

Holy shit Hanity has an all black panel to bad mouth Mike Brown and condemning the Rioting.

"Did the officer fear for his life?" "justified use of force" "was there a struggle for the gun?"

Did I miss something? I was watching right before the last commercial break, and didn't hear anyone bashing Mike Brown, and one of the panelists was even arguing that even if the officer's statement about their being a struggle was correct, then what was the justification for then shooting Mike in the back.

Sleeping after a busy day:
A large crowd is anticipated tomorrow at the Missouri State Fair as several events and promotions will attract diverse interests. The day will begin at 8 a.m. with the 62nd Annual Missouri Governor’s Ham Breakfast, followed by the First Lady’s Pie Contest at 10 a.m. Free gate admission for women this day will be offered, as well as a free trade show sponsored by the Missouri Travel Council. The day will conclude with the concert, An Evening with MercyMe, in the Pepsi Grandstand.

“The Governor’s Ham Breakfast is a long-standing Fair tradition with guests coming together to celebrate the excellence of our Missouri agriculture,” Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe said.

Governor Nixon will be the keynote speaker at the Breakfast, which will begin at 8 a.m. in the Director’s Tent. Tickets are $25 and include general admission to the Fair this day. Tickets can be purchased at the Missouri State Fair Box Office, which is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Breakfast, while supplies last.

The Breakfast will include an auction of the Grand Champion Ham, Reserve Grand Champion Ham, Grand Champion Slab of Bacon and a limited edition commemorative belt buckle. Proceeds from the Breakfast and auction will be used to perpetuate projects at the Missouri State Fair, including scholarships for youth involved in agriculture.

Alex Jones live stream has turned into an adventure film.

They are going to rescue their cameraman with footage who is being held hostage by flashbangs.

I watched the beginning and tuned out halfway. At the start they were talking about a "struggle" and 'if the officer feared for his life'

I shouldn't have used 'bashing Mike Brown' but they were insinuating the eyewitnesses were wrong
There's a few special terms for folks like that. For my own safety I chose not to recant them here.

there was a tepid supporter

So according to the guy being interviewed on MSNBC the cops said "This is no longer a peaceful protest, disperse" over a bullhorn, then unleashed the teargas 15 seconds later.

How can the governor of the state be AWOL when this is going on?

Business Insider reached out to Nixon's office on Wednesday to ask if he had a response to the criticism. We also asked whether he was monitoring the situation in Ferguson and if he planned to travel there. Nixon's press secretary, Scott Holste sent a response noting the governor spoke at a community meeting about the protests in St. Louis County on Tuesday night.

"Since Monday morning, the Governor has been communicating with many community, faith and civic leaders, in addition to requesting the DOJ investigation," Holste said. "And I trust you saw his remarks to the standing room-only crowd at the church last night in north St. Louis County."

What more can one man do?

Ryan Reilly says he had "fingers poked into his neck" and his "head slammed into a wall" on the local news here in St. Louis.

Yes, that's pretty much exactly what happened. Even the protesters who immediately dispersed were likely hit.

The cops continued to fire upon protestors after they had retreated to a safer area, with tear gas canisters landing in the front lawns of private residences.

I want to be optimistic (more like naive) and believe that this incident will initiate a nationwide conversation about the rampant police brutality that has gone unchecked for far too long.

It's pathetic to see a police department so drunk with power it has begun to officially treat literally everyone who isn't them as a public enemy. Neither the state nor the federal government is doing absolutely anything to step in and put a stop to the rampant police brutality. This is a horrible shitstain on the country.

Certain segments of the population only matter when its election time.

Why do these people even become politicians if they are going to do nothing with the power and responsibility that comes with it. They spend millions, sell their souls for a title, and then use the power to hold a ham breakfast.

Times like thise are the ones that politicians should stand up and take a stance. Not hide and hope it goes away.
