They didn't have a big role in the beginning but they were fast to dox anyone the internet threw up as potential suspects.
More importantly they have targeted incorrect individuals multiple times in the past including the disgusting case of Amanda Todd and the poor guy accused by Anonymous of being her aggressor.

I usually don't subscribe to the "cops are bad" mentality that seems prevalent on GAF, since I have a lot of my family has been cops and in law enforcement. But holy shit, this situation here is just wrong on so many levels.

I don't think a witchhunt based on emotion and questionable sources of information is justifiable.
I have more faith that we will get to the bottom of this via the Federal Investigation. Let's be blunt: If the city did its own investigation they'd take the officer at his word and that'd be that.
With that said the old "He was trying to reach for my gun" trick is old as hell. Been used for decades for cops to justify shooting someone dead.

It's a video of what is allegedly Brown's body laying in the street and then being loaded into an unmarked SUV.
It seems to be legitimate, unless there's another suburb where a teenaged black kid was shot in the middle of the street and it took police forever to even cover up his body.

Seeing how TheAnonMessage is asking for the right name, that tells me they probably don't have it right.
Keep in mind folks that this Twitter acct was putting out bad information last night as well.
