It was exactly like that LOL.

Oh, could someone please re-cap this for me. I can see it but I don't have a way of hearing it right now. I'd love to know what's going on.

The journalists being released and the police refusing to give them the arrest report number or the name of the arresting officer. Things that they are legally required to disclose.

Reporters: "Can you please tell us the names of the officers who arrested us? We've asked at least 10 times."

Police: *drums on chest* "Nope, wasn't us, buddy. Go ask the Chief."

Reporters: "Where is the chief?"

Police: *drums on chest* "Somewhere that way." Gestures vaguely in a direction.

Reporters: "Great, how are we supposed to get there or to our cars?"

Police: *drums on chest* "Don't know I didn't drive." *drums on chest*

They ask for their arrest reports and they don't get them/there aren't any. They ask for the police officers names and they get "it wasn't me". The dudebros who are escorting them out aren't giving them any information or any clue as to what happened to them or why.

How do we know its wrong? I know Anon is hit and miss with this stuff, but I doubt the police would ever confirm them as being correct.

To clarify, @YourAnonNews is not @TheAnonMessage and we have not been suspended (today, lol).

They say it wasn't them.

Multiple sources have said that the name doesn't match the name they were given off the record.

In addition, a couple of other anonymous accounts came forward and said that the account that released the name went rogue, was not certain it was the right name, and planned on just blaming their "source" if it was wrong.

This is common in 3rd world countries.

Can we have Todd Akin instead of McCaskill?

"Dripping of the facts of the case...including the officer's name...is detrimental to justice."

SHUT THE FUCK UP.

scratch that. I declare Missouri is not allowed to have any US Senators for the next 100 years.

the protestors said another name, when he said it the police chief visibly responded to it.

Damn, McCaskill is killing this. She's an honest, good senator, and is very focused on equal rights. Very few of these left these days.

Who is the bitch talking now? Good god.

'Have officers go over and have a bottle of water'? Please. And she said "bad apples". I was waiting for someone to say that all morning.

I really can't stand McCaskill, but I think she's doing a good job here. granted, a us senator is pretty removed from any real ability to do anything here. where is blunt on this?

Its just refreshing to hear someone using common sense in the government. It was a show of force, it escalated the situation. Police can't say this, the president can't say this. But she can, and I commend her for it.

Then re need to reiterate this, or just give a status update. Anything of value, even if it's already been said, would be better than just making a bland idealistic statement. He didn't do anything wrong, but that was not a good use of his time.

During his speech he did specifically reaffirm that DOJ and FBI were investigating.

If you guys want to understand why Obama's response was so soft, all you have to do is listen to McCaskill.

You need to understand what the perception of police is by the American mainstream. It's not the same as what's being expressed in this thread.

Will McAvoy ‏@WillMcAvoyACN 4m - I'm pretty sure Chief Wiggum would handle this situation better than Ferguson's police chief.

Goddamn...
