That's way over the line.

...where do you think Fox News got their picture?

The point is it is a well-known, easily accessible image to Photoshop. It may or may not have aired, but no one in this thread seems to know or be saying "yeah, I saw that segment," not that I would blame anyone for missing it. Everything I know about Fox News is from other people going online to say whatever outrageous stupid thing they said is.

Worse than the pic is the fact that people see this shit and actually believe this garbage. Those bigots I see commenting on some these stories are absolutely disgusting.

I thought this tweet was great.

@Electrolemon - "Let's Be Cops (2014, dir. Luke Greenfield) - Two men abuse the power that comes with the uniform of law enforcement. (Comedy, Fiction)"

So many incidents over the last few days.

Don't officers have to identify they number when asked? Here in Canada, it's even written directly on the agent and they have to answer when asked:

At least it helps you can file a complaint for an individual, because these guys act exactly like anonymous assholes on a power trip would act.

Well, this would eliminate one of my major beefs with this week's events...not being able to identify these cops.

I just uploaded that pic of MLK on FoxNews to my Facebook page. Its been a while since I've had a good purge. Figured it was the best way to weed out the ones I want vs. the ones I don't want.

I'm hoping its fake, but the instance that I'm not outwardly surprised is concerning. FOX NEWS is a disease.

The best part is that none of us even want to switch to FOX to see if it's legit or not.

This insensitive comment is not the time or place I know, but we really want to know why intelligent Alien life hasn't contacted us yet? Because we continually prove we're still barbarians who can't even treat each other with respect and dignity.

I urge everyone who is concerned about this to read Rise of the Warrior Cop.

It's a history of why it's as bad as it is these days. It'll highlight that police are just part of the problem, and that politicians helped make it the way it is currently.

Hate to say it but I was just waiting for the Fox headlines, sound bytes, and talking points to begin flooding in. And expected they'd pretty much present a cartoonish alternate reality narrative.

This has probably been posted already, but it's good enough to repost:
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06/09/us/war-gear-flows-to-police-departments.html

In the Indianapolis suburbs, officers said they needed a mine-resistant vehicle to protect against a possible attack by veterans returning from war.

“You have a lot of people who are coming out of the military that have the ability and knowledge to build I.E.D.’s and to defeat law enforcement techniques,” Sgt. Dan Downing of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department told the local Fox affiliate, referring to improvised explosive devices, or homemade bombs.

I have no words...
