There was a video last night someone posted here showing the person who threw a molotov at the police, which started their march forward towards the protesters. You can clearly see a flaming bottle and you can even hear the glass breaking, then someone on the megaphone "YOU NEED TO DISPERSE, NOW"

It will happen in the next 50 years or so. I don't think that will make too much of a difference on its own though because white people will still control the avenues of power if the only thing changes is the demographics. Of course, attitudes and acceptance and power can shift during that time.

The power structure is already in place. Even when whites become the minority they'll still be in positions of power. Afrikaners were the minority in South Africa. That didn't instantly equate to the black population taking the reigns.

It's a vicious cycle. Police show up all geared up to fight, people in the crowd get pissed/emboldened by the crowd, someone throws something at cops > cops react.
