League of Legends Championship Series: Season 4

But you didn't like it when hotshot picked lux, huh?

maybe I am misremembering, but someone in this thread didn't like hotshot picking lux

yeah, cos hotshot is a shitty player that did her a disservice

not a big fan of kerp's lux from this game but tbh more than anything you can see what lux' big problems are, just about everyone outpushes her and she's just too easy to predict

you can also tell damage on athenes rush is pretty low

I thought Hotshot and his team preformed well for a bunch of solo queue players.

yeah, lux is not a very good champion if you're losing

her cc is alright but it's nothing too crazy and her damage is pretty lackluster

i think the morg+lux thing is a good idea since if you can get vision you can go around the map catching people, 100-0ing them

sounds like something fun to try out in ranked teams

The first three Bo5s of the EU LCS/CS playoffs have shown that some teams either didn't prepare properly or couldn't handle the pressure of a big series. UoL ran circles around NiP to the point where Alex Ich had his head in his hands on several occasions. SHC were opening arguing with each other during pick and bans (to be fair, they did win a game that was stalled out till 60mins, but Roccat won every early game hard), and today MLL also looked like they also didn't have a handle on how to pick/ban on 4.13.

Go SKP!

interesting freeze post on nip's situation: https://www.facebook.com/lolFreezecz/posts/642157372558707

basically seems like k0u was kind of a jerk and very difficult to deal with. also he pretty much didn't give a shit cos he was going to ocelote's team

sucks that challenger teams are this unstable

Yeah, k0u seems very immature. I can see him going to ocelote because he will get more money that way, but it's still shitty for most parties involved. I don't think k0u staying would have saved NiP yesterday though.

Oh right, I forgot the context. I am Swedish as well, and that's one of the reasons I know he's toxic. The guy hangs around in the Swedish League Facebook group and posts a lot of shit.

dude, you don't have to hide it anymore, your secret is out

you're one of those anti-swedies

also skp jungler seems to be on a completely different page than the rest of his team lol

i feel like maokai going through champion select i think on all 5 games means players are really bad at telling why they're winning

yeah

i don't really understand why mao is so broken but if there's something i've gotten from watching these games is that mao is op as fuck

After this series and the Champions finals, teams ranked 3rd through 6th in Korean Circuit Points will go through a gauntlet style tournament to determine who the third team representing South Korea in the 2014 World Championship will be.

Hotshot and friends did play well considering the situation they were in. You could tell they were playing with less pressure on them than regular for an LCS game.

EU LCS Summer Split Playoffs - Fifth Place Match

Millenium vs Supa Hot Crew
Best of Five

It was supposed to start at 10:00AM est, but the International Qualifier Finals ended and they started this match right after it.

Millenium were hopeless after game 1 went wrong. They tried to surprise SHC with the Talon last pick in that game but Kerp appeared to go on tilt and made a series of stupid assassination attempts which threw their (significant) advantage and led to their defeat. Games 2 and 3 were one sided stomps, with Kerp playing Orianna, who he almost never plays, in game 3. In game 3 they last picked Shen into Zac, so their top laner was permanently shoved in and couldn't defend their jungle. They lost all control before even 10 minutes had gone by. In game 2 SHC won the early game ridiculously hard with tower dives and objectives, taking advantage of Kassadin's weak early game, to the point they were up 20k to 14k at one point.

I've been surprised by how poorly the EU teams have handled the best of 5 format so far - they don't seem to have developed the mentality to stay with it when things go wrong. Hopefully FNC/ROC and ALL/SK will be better tomorrow.

Normally I can see where Riot's coming from with their punishments for rule breaking, but this seems over the top. What's wrong with teams expressing excitement about signing players and wanting to let their fans know? If they were to jump the gun on announcing the player's start date then it'd be to their own detriment anyway as they'd need to play a sub.

Wonder if the e-Sports department takes a cut of any fine meted out...

I would like to see the official ruling where they cite the rulebook on this one. It's going to be quite the interpretation.

Announcing an employee before the formalities can be an issue, no?

Game 3 is actually pretty damn close but I can't help but see how mechanically inferior Overpow is compared to top tier eu midlaners. I don't think Fizz really suits him, he tends to misplay in clutch situations.

xpeke outplayed him so hard there bot lane. Despite missing his ult and E, overpow would still have won the duel if not for the perfectly timed charm from xpeke that canceled the fizz Q right before it hit. Once that happened, it was over.
