I can't even imagine what games at the end of the PS4's life cycle will look like.
Well you only got two more years to find out!
lulz
I can't even imagine what games at the end of the PS4's life cycle will look like.
So like everyone who posts "woah great graphics" or "30FPS is great" sounds like a pull-string toy? People who prefer 60FPS need to voice their opinion, even if it is repetitive. It's the only chance marketing depts. are listening.
In the trailer Tesla mentioned that "the weapons I created could also be our greatest downfall" while showing the order crushing rebels with his creation. I am wondering how the relationship is going to playout between rebels and half-breeds, maybe forging an allience due to mutual benefits? Consider the order was the oppressor to both factions.
Crow serving incoming. Man, I'm looking forward to E3.
Yes the Order is going to serve up a sizable helping of crow once it releases. The little bit of Uncharted 4 we have seen is almost on Par with the Orders fidelity and at 60 fps so that should be very interesting to watch unfold. The reason behind the word seemingly is the new footage we have seen of the Order in my opinion blows that small segment out of the water. The cathedral scene is the absolute best in game fidelity I have ever seen on anything. If anyone can surpass this games visuals it is Naughty Dog but as of now the best looking game is the Order hands down.
I disagree. The Order looks just as good, if not better IMHO. But we've only seen very little of UC4 so far. So let's see.
Just like there was a noticeable gap between cut scene and gameplay in previous ND games so there will be in U4, i don't see any other scenario.
And their reveals before were always presented with a short in-engine cut scene, Drake waking up in a busted train in U2, or walking around the desert after his plane crash, or Ellie and Joel fight some infected in TLoU's reveal- all of those were in-engine, TLoU reveal even had the same exact MSG of "This footage was recorded on PS3" thing.
The difference is that the cutscenes will be real time in Uncharted 4, not prerendered like they were in ND's previous games.
It sounds like the guy playing was trying to kill them with the gas pellets from the thermite rifle. We got confirmation if it was because an unfinished build the bulletsponge enemies that didn't reacted to being shot nor killed?
Yep, a pretty big departure from their old days. Anyone else think they're shifting to real time cutscenes in order to save disc space? Prerendered videos propably takes a lot of space and due to higher quality assets they need all the space they can get.
For you it is. For me, playing 60FPS all the time, it is not. Can you live with that?

Just no. 30fps is more than acceptable.
How can you do this to me? Just take my words and use them against me.![]()
No way! You really think so? The density of the vegetation, the lighting, Drake's facial detail and animation. That Uncharted 4 trailer was WILD. So wild intact that I won't believe they've got that kind of visual fidelity running at 60 until I see it. But hey another year of dev time, who knows.
Another game that will break my share button.
Already have 65GB of shared data on my PS4 HDD lol. Games like this, Bloodborne, Uncharted, DriveClub, Dragons Age, Witcher 3, Destiny, etc.
CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK all f'in day long
Got a source for that? Tried to search but no luck. It's a good thing they're 'strongly considering' a photo mode![]()
This scene however is just dumb and is better than anything I have seen outside of mods on PC.

graphics and framerate aside, can we knock the shit out of a horse in The Order?

People coming into a few threads with posts saying "great graphics" is not nearly the same as you going into nearly every thread and complaining about 30 fps. I don't praise the graphics of every game, but it seems like your only input for 30 fps games is "eww 30 fps slideshow unplayable unacceptable last gen I've been playing 60 for treats etc etc etc." It gets a bit old, and it makes you extremely predictable as a poster. When I see your name, I instantly know a dig at framerate is coming. So like everyone who posts "woah great graphics" or "30FPS is great" sounds like a pull-string toy? He literally never posts about anything other than 60fps. I've never seen him even talk about playing a game.People coming into a few threads with posts saying "great graphics" is not nearly the same as you going into nearly every thread and complaining about 30 fps. We all know your opinion, and if your only input to all these threads is that you hate 30 fps, then are you really adding to the conversation? The devs aren't suddenly going to change the framerate, and you often derail threads (like right now). Maybe add some variety?
The build at Gamescon is the E3 build.
A member here had issue with the hit detection with the pistol.
Fixed that for you30fps is definitely enjoyable for select third person action adventure games. Uncharted Trilogy was such a sublime experience and it was 30!
The black bars are just horrible, ugly.
Put some stickers on your TV to cover them. Problem solved. The black bars are just horrible, ugly.
Artstyle is breathtaking, graphics are grat, everything looks good so far. 30FPS however is so lastgen and a huge disappointment.
Hit detection felt off, aiming felt really weird in general. Hope it gets fixed.
Nah! Aiming felt great, imoHit detection felt off, aiming felt really weird in general. Hope it gets fixed.

I thought so, too, but the direct comparison between the same game TLOU easily gives (with perfect vsync and all) makes 30 feel terrible. I never had such a strong reaction when I switched between different games with different framerates. Heck,I thought the rock-solid 30 fps from Black Flag was good enough when I played it just before TLOU.
I guess I will be able to cope with 30 for The Order, but no drops, please. Seriously, sub-30 dtops are icky.
Please elaborate, is this the 2nd coming of the U3 aimgate?
Nooooo....
I should probably rephrase that. Movement overall feels pretty clunky.

Between QB and 1886, I'm not sure who's bringing the best graphics to the table, but in terms of gameplay, it looks like they're neck and neck in a race to the middle. I imagine that both games are going to have to bank hard on their respective stories and characters.
