the motives for the PD to unveil this robbery video is to show that Brown has an aggressive nature and to water down the severity of the officer's actions of shooting him down to say ''hey was aggressive to me''

I still want to see photos of the cops face. If he says he was assaulted, then there has to be pics of it somewhere.

a friend pointed out that chip bag in this picture looks like it's Red Hot Riplets.

The St Louis treat. Believe.

I think they found the guy and he said that it was riplets. I have no idea what those are though. Going to google.

Would it be a demotion for Johnson to become chief of Ferguson? Because I think a lot of people would like to see that happen.

Yeah.

Johnson is a 27-year veteran of the highway patrol and currently oversees Troop C, which covers 11 counties including St. Louis.

Guy is in charge of this huge area:

Troop C is responsible for 11 counties in East Central Missouri and has the largest contingent of uniformed officers, 147, and is supported by 136 uniformed civilians and 21 civilian employees.

It's clear to anyone with a modicum of intelligence that all of this is to smear and dehumanize Mike Brown and paint a clear narrative that his death is somehow justified. This is a textbook example of character assassination. As I stated in the Trayvon Martin trial, had Mike Brown been Samantha Brown from a affluent family, white as snow the narrative behind all of this would be much different; no one would even care that she stole some cigarillos. Overwhelmingly people would be utterly revolted at how all of this is going down. But because Mike Brown is black; there's this lingering doubt and doubling down of "well in some way he deserved it, don't do the crime if you don't want to be shot" then you have remedial waste of life people on twitter with their "herp derp, see just a thug. Nothing to see here" that is echoed on GAF.

Oh you aren't telling me anything I don't already know unfortunately. I had just stepped out though and coming back to hear that Wilson didn't even KNOW about that incident makes this all the more funny/sad/pathetic. Unfortunately the "damage" has already been done in the eyes of lots of America :(

An officer at Darren Wilson's house says Wilson and his family left days ago, @yamiche & co. report http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/u...ting/14098369/ …

Huh, I saw someone predict this earlier in the thread. Good on that person. And I do wonder if the officer was given the suggestion to leave by one of his fellow cops. Well, the stupid asshole has to live with what he's done. It'll haunt him forever, whether he's brought to justice or not.

I am thinking that so I don't go mad with rage.

so this is confirmed then..?

I'd say so, here's the direct quote:

FERGUSON, Mo. — Michael Brown was identified as a suspect in a strong-arm robbery of a box of cigars moments before he was shot to death by Officer Darren Wilson, police said Friday.

However, in an afternoon press conference by Ferguson, Mo. Police Chief Thomas Jackson, said the two incidents were not related. He said Wilson did not know about the robbery when he confronted and then shot Brown, whose death spurred violent protests and unrest in the St. Louis suburb over the past week.

Wilson stopped Brown and a friend because "they were in the middle of the street, blocking traffic," Jackson said.

Yeah but there's no way they can allow that as evidence if there ever is a case
with the history of police officers on trail, I wouldn't be surprised if it will come front and center in trying to acquit the cop.
I was a teen when the Rodney King beating happened with full video footage... cops got acquitted.

That's an amazing picture.

American flag t shirt, bag of chips in one hand and a gas canister in the other, throwing it back at the military.

#Ferguson chief says officer stopped Brown for walking in street, then saw he had cigars 1/2 http://bit.ly/1uCiCqz

#Ferguson officer knew there had been a robbery involving cigars and realized Brown might be suspect 2/2 http://bit.ly/1uCiCqz

Disgusting. Says something different every time.

He said he "speculates" that the officer might have seen the stolen cigars after stopping Brown but doesnt know for sure.

lol

Fuck this guy. He should be in jail too for what he allowed his officers to do this last week. Every crime committed by the officers under his command should be charged to him too.

So you're saying that something that may shed some light of the victim's state of mind when the officers first interacted with him is not relevant in this case. Because he went from being somebody who was doing nothing wrong to somebody who broke the law and could possibly go to jail for it.

Now we're back-peddling on the back-peddling of the back-peddling....

Probably already posted but

I wonder if they told him to haul ass the same day.

Dude put his tail between his legs and dipped. Expected.

So he didn't know that about the robbery, and yet saw cigars and assumed they were stolen? Am I getting that right? These reports are confusing me.

Ferguson getting ready for the future Wilson trial. Getting their stories straight

''hey Wilson, you didn't know Brown was the cigar robbing guy, but say that you saw him with cigars with him....''

Its simple fam. Cop saw a negro and knew he must have done something, so cop went to find out what crime he had committed.

I'd have to re-listen to the audio tapes of the dispatcher that was loaded by Anon, but is there a description of what Brown was wearing, and that he possibly could have stolen merchandise?

Anybody else listen to that NPR interview today where the state senator was on? She was talking about how she was protesting with others and they ended up trapped down one way street and tear gassed. It was awful.

oh lord...
