I know I said wouldn't post this again until Saturday, but with more people voting than expected yesterday I thought a couple extra reminders wouldn't hurt.

It could be the quest to find a magical crystal that lets on tame the legendary beast Ridley. Some say the crystal is only a legend, that Ridley will forever be an enemy of the people. But a rag tag team of adventurers have seen the signs (however vague they may be), and know that one day the beast will be tamed and be used for the good of all mankind.

I've got a PS4 and play fighting games, so...haha, I guess I'm kind of useless there. But let me know if you ever get a PS4! I need more fighting game buddies.

I was only joking but the more I think about it, the more I want it to happen.

Not to go into a tabletop tangent, but I've also learned that GMs should always limit me; I once asked for a monocle that changed colors based on my emotion and became way to focused on it rather than the story.

Haha, you got me! I actually see myself on the path of villainy as Heath's dark counterpart; while Heath has remained good after being rejected by his woman of choice, I will not take my rejection from -Horizon- as well and betray the group. That's my theory, anyway.

You know, one of the aspects I'm most excited about in new Smash games is seeing how much veterans have changed. They don't have to get new moves or anything, just different properties in their moves and how they translate to the new mechanics is enough for me.

I guess I'm particularly excited to see how the characters I usually play have changed, for better or worse. Pretty much all my favorite characters are veterans anyway (granted the main one, Wario, is still MIA lol) so I'm just curious about them more than any newcomer. Not to say the newcomers are underwhelming, since I'm actually really interested in trying out Wii Fit Trainer and Greninja, and of course Little Mac who is like one of the two characters I really wanted in the game. (the other being a Rhythm Heaven character)

To be honest, reading about how DK, Sonic and Olimar all changed from E3 demo impressions got me much more excited for the game than the trailers did. I guess it's because I am so familiar with these characters that I really want to try them out in a new and different game. I know the first thing I'll do when I get the game is to use all my favorite veterans before I even touch a newcomer. Just felt like typing this out after what I said about how we don't know much about several veterans in my last post. lol

The only bad thing was that Pastor Neoxon took religion to an extreme.

He was very ecstatic and excitable, and liked to yell to people a lot. Not out of anger of course, but just out of his passion for his work. Some people found his devotion to be a little bit strange though. He spoke often of a goddess in the sky and heavenly booty's, but I'm pretty sure that it's all metaphorical. The heavenly booty is in all of us, is the message the congregation had been receiving, and what it meant to them personally was up to interpretation.

...that's actually not a bad idea. I wouldn't want pokemon to ever go that dark, but I wish they would follow a story that wasn't just the same "gather eight badges" sometime in one of the main series games.

My dream Pokémon game takes place in the reconstruction period after a natural disaster devastates the region. You're not hunting for badges, you're trying to reunite with your family you got separated from. Along the way you just tour how cities and villages have coped with the damage.

The criminal gang element still works too because the Yakuza are always really heavily involved with post-disaster reconstruction because it puts them in good standing with society. So you have your Team Rocket or whatever taking control of territory because they are spearheading the reconstruction.
