Hopefully it will be mentioned in the media that a peaceful protest was ruined by opportunists, but of course we'll instead see lots of "violent protesters", basically lumping them all together.

CNN apparently did their own interview of the store guards, so hopefully they will point out that the protesters tried to shut that shit down.

What's been the general reaction so far to the revelations that Brown robbed that store, has a lot of photos throwing gang signs, has photos with guns and lots of cash, and has a rap sheet? Obviously, he didn't deserve to die but has the sentiment changed at all in the mainstream media? I actually don't have cable so I can't watch CNN, Fox News, or MSNBC.

We absolutely have to rebuild this system. Racism, sexism, poverty...all of this "Us vs Them" is rooted in our society, and of course that's something a total revolution can only accomplish and fix.
The question is will enough of us be enlightened enough to accomplish this? It seems only some of the oppressed see this, and the rest are apathetic until something affects their neck of the woods.
