I don't think the police are 100% at fault here. The peaceful protestors all said to follow the curfew, the people out here were looking for a confrontation.

I actually give credit to the cops, if this is just smoke grenades, then they are doing just fine.
Throe shots were scary though, and I'm glad it didn't' get the cops shooting.

This is also true. There are those who just want to fight and only in it for themselves. But I still don't agree with a militarized police force, especially if it's the first thing they go to when something happens.

Oh come on man. You don't have to defend every single person out there tonight. Some of them are clearly out there with bad intentions. It's a slap in the face to the peaceful protestors to defend these people who are apparently opportunists and just want chaos.
And the protesters tried to defend the stores last night and there were no signs of that tonight. For the most part, the protests have been non-violent. After days of having guns pointed at them for virtually nothing, of course tensions are going to be at an all-time high and people would lean more towards violence.
As controversial as it may be, I'll defend people leaning towards wanting to riot/fight the police. My feelings towards police are the lowest they've been.
