That's the discussion I'm reading over Twitter from people who were out there.

It matters because the people of the area have been nothing but peaceful so far, but the media will keep playing the narrative that the protesters are resorting to violence and destroying their own area.

Depends on how you define the area I guess. If youre talking about the 2 mile by 2 mile small neighborhood of Ferguson basically, then I'm not sure. But there have been plenty of people arrested for looting from St Louis and St Louis county which is basically the general area, to me. I mean Ferguson is right on the outskirts of St Louis. 1-2 miles away. I would still call that their area.

I could understand if you mean people from Chicago or some shit but when you say a person arrested was from St Louis and not Ferguson, St Louis people could literally live 2 minutes outside of the border of Ferguson proper.
