I kept expecting cena to come back..
Wat a tweest!

VINCE did good with this summerslam, I'm gonna be watching raw tomorrow, so they got me back.

I absolutely don't believe they are going to stick with him until WM and let that happen. That may have been the plan, it may still be the plan, but it isn't going to stick.

The only way it won't happen is if Reigns gets turned on by the crowd like Orton circa late 2004 but he's not being overpushed like Orton was during that time. Maybe if Bryan comes back in time and the crowd completely highjacks the show again.

They knew the only way to keep ppl from unsubbing was to kill Cena. 16 German Suplexes being the means of execution was unexpected, but immensely gratifying. I stay my hand, WWE. I stay my hand and eagerly await tomorrow night's RAW.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Not really, it worked with Hogan back in his heyday. I like the idea of the champ being seen rarely on TV, only for big PPVs and such. Nice side effect is this would raise the importance of the other belts since they would be defended on TV more often.

It worked in the 80s. I just don't see it working now. You are basically going to have your champion miss about 7 of the 8 or 9 shows a month. It's insane.

Cena losing clean and being dominated like this is a bigger shock than Undertaker's streak ending. Lol But in all seriousness Summerslam was a decent show some great matches. Won't be surprised if Brock loses title tomorrow or some nonsense.

That lumberjack match was special wow
Ziggler winning was a plus, weird finish though.
Steph can wrestle, not bad loved the twist.
Divas title match was a good match, what a reversal into a DDT.
Reigns vs. Orton was better than Smackdown matches they had countless times. Seems like Orton wanted to try and put this guy over.
Cesaro vs. RVD was a good match hope for rematch tomorrow on RAW.

I will credit Cena for taking another huge beating from Brock, don't know how smart it was with his neck history though, good god almighty.

Every match was pretty damn good tonight. Even Reigns match was good due to those awesome Orton counters. Wyatt Jericho was the weakest. Not really their fault.

I'm curious how this will play. I mean the iwc is probably eating this up but to the casual fan wasn't that sort of a crap main event?

I think it was great. Every fan in that arena was expecting the usual - Cena getting back into the match but it never happened.

They have pretty much successfully built Lesnar up as the monster fucking heel he should have been since his return.

Props to Cena for taking that ass kicking. Holy cow. That said, I never understood the smark hatred for Cena. Feels like anyone who WWE pushes gets hated on, except when they give Bryan a win over the entirety of Evolution in a single night at WM, we still think that they're conspiring to hold him down.

I enjoyed Ambrose/Rollins the most. I couldn't believe it, but I've now seen it. A Lumberjack match delivered. I'm hoping they get thrown in a Ladder match next.

This PPV was better than Battleground. That show sucked. They paced this a lot better. Not that much time wasted on useless backstage segments or ring promos or whatever.

An okay PPV.

Jericho/Wyatt needs to be abandoned. It's not working.

I might be in the minority but I felt SS was 3/5. Nothing really stood out to me like last year's Punk/Brock and Bryan/Cena match plus the moment of Bryan winning the championship and the start of the Authority angle (too bad they booked it wrong).

I'm not looking forward to Night of the Champions. I don't want to see a bunch of rematches. Some of these match ups are getting stale (Ziggler/Miz, Jericho/Wyatt, etc). But they definitely have interesting story lines to pursue.

Bottom to top an excellent show. Still can't believe that Cena lost in a squash match. Can't believe how perfectly they're nailing Lesnar as the ultimate monster heel. Becoming such a big fan. I welcome the rematch. God. Damn.

Now let us all cross our fingers and hope the streak and the squashing of Cena will end in putting someone other than Reigns over at Mania.

It will be The Rock v. Brock at WM.

You know why?

The Rock wins and defends it against Brock after WM, then Seth cashes in.

Roman won't win until next Summerslam

That was pretty awesome. Cena getting just tossed around the ring was great. I have no idea who they even put up against Brock after that show.

Yea throw me into the 5/5 camp. Every damn match actually delivered tonight minus the orton/Reigns match. That's rare for WWE to actually have that many good matches on a PPV anymore.
