National guard moving. Now we really do have military on the streets!

Telling people they can't protest at QT today.

Have we reached full on martial law yet?

I told you this would happen. This is the start of the end of the democracy, soon they'll eliminate our ability to protest, and right to free speech. This is the beginning of the end for America. I warned you, I fucking warned you people. Orwell was so fucking right in the end.

And just as equally, we can say there is no actual evidence saying he did. All just witness accounts.

I am being critical of both sides in this, because both sides are making this even more of a clusterfuck.

You realize this quote is insane, right?

Family revealed the personal autopsy results this morning saying he was shot as surrendering and shot six times, including twice in the head.

Hmmm...

You're a clown.

There's a difference between protesting and smashing windows of stores, looting, setting fires, etc. Seems like the people in the daytime do it right, and the people at night do it wrong, hence the (frankly unconstitutional) curfew they tried to enact.

They can come send an assassin for me right now, I'd rather die with dignity than live in apathy.

When I was younger I stole some cigarettes and sodas one rare occasion. Being Mexican I feel I will be able to use this to help deter my children from stealing when I actually have some.

"Put it down, son. See that man over there? He will murder you if he catches you."

The Governor declared a "state of emergency" which I assume grants him powers like that. I've never read the Missouri Constitution though.

What do you mean YOU PEOPLE?

=P

Even more importantly he posed in photos with a gun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoUsPCPRgYI

I don't think there's greater evidence of someone being a thug than that.

That guy is the worst. "I said from day one that Michael Brown is a thug." I'm assuming he just meant all black people are thugs, including himself. What a confused man he is.

"It's a shame that in America today that criminals are given the benefit of the doubt, especially black criminals -- white criminals don't get the benefit of the doubt..."

I strongly suggest you expand your familiarity with american history.

What is with this false equivalency bullshit?

Angelus was right.

Holy shit.

Cops botched in investigation, possibly murdered a kid, don't know how to handle a situation. Rioters at night then make it worse, because it isn't so much protesting as it is property destruction.

I mean someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what it seems like to someone who isn't keeping up with all the little details. I see well organized protests and marches during the daytime, and it's absolute hell once the sun goes down.

The people of Ferguson as a whole aren't a "side." Each person is a side. A tiny percentage of those people are being stupid (and may not even be actual residents in some cases) and do not represent the community. Residents are even helping to clean up any looting that takes place.

It's hell once the sun goes down because tensions rise, people show up from out of town to cause trouble, and the cops are antsy.

What I just cannot get my head around is why police officers don't have cameras on themselves? I know some counties do and I think they are looking into it here in the UK, but I would have thought for at the very least insurance purposes it would be a must by now? I'm sure I've read that in places they have them reports of police brutality dramatically fell as well, whats the argument against them?

Alright, I phrased it poorly, my mistake.

Amnesty International Calls For Investigation Of Ferguson Police Tactics

After sending a 12-person delegation to Ferguson to monitor police activity, meet with officials and work with activists, the human rights organization concluded that the city's policing standards must be scrutinized to ensure they meet key standards.

“Amnesty International has a long and tested history of monitoring and investigating police conduct, not just in foreign countries, but right here at home in the United States,” executive director Steven W. Hawkins said in a Sunday statement. “Our delegation traveled to Missouri to let the authorities in Ferguson know that the world is watching. We want a thorough investigation into Michael Brown’s death and the series of events that followed.”

Holy shit. Both sides, huh?

if you people had voted for Ron Paul none of this would have happened.

They can come send an assassin for me right now, I'd rather die with dignity than live in apathy.
So would I, but, they can break you, oh they'll break you. Room 101 brother.

The actions of a few should not represent the majority.

I strongly suggest you expand your familiarity with american history.

I suggest you realize this is the end. The NG is going to put a stop to any protesters.

It's inconvenient to the cops. They already have cameras on their dashboards, but I guess there's no penalty for turning them off because we've seen time and time again that video and audio of police brutality is sometimes mysteriously nonexistent.

What do rioters and protesters have to do with the fact Mike Brown was killed?

That is why he is calling your false equivalency bullshit. So many people try to apply critical thinking and end up doing the complete opposite.

Med. Examiner (Dr. Baden's employee) on MSNBC just said it was really only the final shot to the apex of the head that was fatal. The shot to the eye was survivable if treated. This means whatever happened before the final two shots (probably fired in quick succession) doesn't really matter. If he was surrendering or incapacitated at that point, it should be murder.

So this why the US police forces have been militarizing for a while; not fema camps and occupy Wall Street. Black people. Sneaky.

Six shots, wherever they were shot, were unwarranted.

Not all people at night did it wrong. Prior to yesterdays curfew while protesters were there peacefully, there were ofcourse opportunists in the mix to cause harm. The innocent ones such as kids and babies were unfortunately gassed.
