It changes the narrative. The Ferguson police would have not only released stills/video against the advice/logic of everybody else, but they also attempted to frame it as a robbery, when it is a different incident.

Same thing would happen if it turned out he was only shot once, or video came out showing him punching Wilson, etc. It debunks parts of the story.

They aren't event using the direct option with the LRAD or you would have people running away because of the pain in your ears and brain. That's why everyone is just annoyed as hell.

The LRAD can be used as a speaker, or as a direct weapon. To me it looks like they are using it as a speaker with the annoying siren on.
