The cop is not going to face anything, won't even be arrested to stand trial.

Who is this guy that we should believe him? And where are these 12 witnesses? there's been 4 witnesses against the cop and all four have made multiple statements. You're telling me not one of these witnesses has talked to anyone but the police?

"Buddy on the right side of the street you are unlawfully assembled."

This police guy on the bullhorn reminds me of someone...

"If you remove street signs and walk around with them, you might be a redneck."

It's been happening all day. Protesters were forced to walk around in circles. Ridiculous.

I'm trying to figure out something that would be appropriate to compare this to.

"Walk around in a circle and protest!" As they're surrounded by men with guns.

I'm enraged, and I'm not even fucking there.

For what it's worth, the person on the live stream using the whole "Authoritative Dad' voice is still better then what was going on before.

It's still disgusting, however.

this guy sounds like the senior undergrad who had to be TA and the prof is late for class and he is totally uncool with these dumb kids who keep talking

Bullhorn cop should just start telling jokes at this point, he's not helping at all.

this guy sounds like the senior undergrad who had to be TA and the prof is late for class and he is totally uncool with these dumb kids who keep talking

Some of us are trying to learn.

Voting public shares blame in that too. Politicians ran on crime and punishment from the late 60's to late 90's, then switched it up for terrorism.

and the war on terror gave the justification for the militarization of the police... but instead of fighting foreign terrorists, they are subduing own citizens.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unlawful_assembly

Unlawful assembly is a legal term to describe a group of people with the mutual intent of deliberate disturbance of the peace. If the group are about to start the act of disturbance, it is termed a rout; if the disturbance is commenced, it is then termed a riot. In Britain, the offence was abolished in 1986.

It means the crowd has intent to do something illegal, something that is not happening. The police see them as all potential rioters and willing to take them all out rather than the small handful.

Unlawful assembly can even mean just a group of 3 people with intent to do something illegal by force.
