If the guy was reaching for the officer's gun...how did the officer shoot him with the gun? The fact the officer has the gun in his hands means the use of force to shoot him is unjustified. Or are you claiming Mike Brown shot himself?

I might be misunderstanding the article linked.

At least one shot was fired from the police car. Brown was killed while he was standing about 35 feet away from the car.

I assumed the cop shot the person from the car, meaning he was about 35 feet away? It was night time, so If you're shooting at someone, how would you know if any of the bullets hit? I'm not sure how bright the streetlamps are.

Of course, I don't know if shooting at an unarmed person from that car away is the right thing in the first place, so I'm arguing about something moot.

Two witnesses (with recordings) say that Mike gets out of the car and Wilson chases after him firing at him. Mike jerks and turns around, surrenders and Wilson continues to shoot.

My concern is if they do arrest him and there's not enough evidence to prosecute him or a grand jury doesn't find the case convincing enough or it goes to a full trial and the jury finds him not guilty. What will happen? I can't imagine it would go over well.
