Claiming that the people in the truck are the same ones who were on the ground on the news feed, also claims of an unlit Molotov found with them

Why should they? You think the whole force is going to get fired over this? No. Someone will be scapegoated, and they'll promise some change they're never follow through with. This will all blow over in the end with nothing really changing.
Give the escalation of support on the side of the protestors, I'm starting to believe that if this outcome starts to happen the people won't stand for it, more so than they are now.

One of the guys looked like someone from that photo posted earlier but I thought it was a coincidence.

I would not be surprised if a good amount of the protest provocateurs are agent provocateurs.

Yeah I didn't think of that but it makes too much sense really.

It was revealed in several places that this is a common tactic; wikileaks, and recently in Greenwald's new book.

Guess we'll never know.

I'll admit I haven't been following this as closely as possible as I was eating lunch (following this from a a different country at the moment). Last I saw before I started reading the thread again was he was hit by a rubber bullet.

Anyways the situation there is crazy. And while there is escalation from anarchists and stuff the cops are using waaaaay too much force and aren't helping anything with the way they are acting.

Just use some tact. There's no need to pop in and be disrespectful when Snoozer is just stating facts, and not even really defending the asshole cap that ripped his press patch off.

They seem to be dumbass anarchist groups like the RCP and another one has been mentioned too. I hope the real protesters let them know they're not wanted there and somehow get them to leave.
Those gang members guarding local businesses need to take those guys around the corner and have a quiet chat with them.

The police will just wait them out. Eventually interest will drop back, and return to status quo.

KSDK Live Video(local St. Louis news?). Video seems to be clips from earlier...voices are live.

I really hope people in their homes are able to take pictures and do their best to get them to the media in the morning. Also some of the media are hiding out. Don't want to imagine what is likely taking place now that the cops believe no one is watching them. We've seen what they're willing to do when they know cameras are on them.

They seem remarkably at ease in the CNN and local feed (especially compared to earlier)

I wish I could stop watching news and live feeds of Ferguson. Shit is heartbreaking, but I can't turn away.

I honestly don't know what can be done that this point to calm things down. Arresting Wilson is a start, but I think it's too late for that to truly settle things down.

So many tense moments!

Police give arbitrary directives with their guns drawn and military grade equipment readied, and then citizens say "no."

#bothsides

I hope so.

J. Cole showed up on the Vice stream (lol) but he basically said that there needs to be more people and coverage at the day time movements. Where they have been more "safe". I wouldn't be surprised if we begin to see a separation of true protesters and just opportunist depending on when they are out. Like a literal, night and day difference.

Are there any pics of those anarchists who infiltrated the movement? Source? Infos? During the last montreal riots, they kept getting identified by regular peeps super fast every day.

If they arrest Wilson, what happens then? How will these citizens trust the people that were supposed to protect them? Disappointing.
