Because the reports of molotovs have been a lie. There has been one image of someone trying to light one from the middle of last week. That's it.

This. The end result of them being used would be obvious but we don't see any evidence of them being used with so many cameras around. They may or not be there but that's different from them being thrown. What we do know and see is what the police are doing. They keep saying their being used I think to make it seem like they're being attacked and try to justify their actions but it's such a lie in the face of video of what they themselves are doing.

EDIT: Reported that the truck that was surrounded had a molotov cocktail in the back. Haven't seen it but apparently it's on video.

I was watching the stream the first night of the curfew and someone threw one (I think it was one, or something else that causes fire) at a restaurant but the ohter protesters immediately put it out (while they were being fired at with smokebombs/tear gas).

One of the guys looked like someone from that photo posted earlier but I thought it was a coincidence.

Fucking assholes. If they just so happened to be jumped one of these nights...well, I'm not really a supporter of violence but...things happen

Yes because a facebook posting showing dudes fucking around in a parking lot is an absolutely valid proof of them arming kids.

Seriously? Let's be better than this. Mob justice is terrible

the police are sure doing a great job of making sure no one involved in this ever sides with them again. Outside of the exposure this is getting, imagine all the word-of-mouth these people are going to start based on their experiences. Having guns pointed at them for doing essentially nothing? Not being allowed to publicly state your dissatisfaction with how the police are handling a situation? Press being told where they can and cannot report during a nonviolent protest? what a fucking mess :\

Here's the video of the officer ripping Tim's press patch off for those who want to see it for themselves. While a press patch is indeed not the same as credentials, I feel the officer was being needlessly aggressive.

the police literally acting like civilians are lower human beings in every situation. like why even rip his press strip off his chest? you know why, because he has the authoritarian mindset that he's above them. and people think its hard to believe Wilson could have popped of six unnecessary shots at Brown. c'mon, look at this footage of these cops, they're treating people like shit.

I can't really argue with what the cop is saying. Anyone could walk up with that on their chest. Having said that, they're way too damn aggressive. Fucking guys want this to be a warzone so badly.

I didnt get to see a whole lot of coverage tonight, I was busy watching Johnny Football flip off the Redskins.

Why were they trying to "keep protesters moving" and not allowing them to stay in one area? You would think they would want to keep everyone in one area. Right?

US can't tell other countries to improve their records on policing and peaceful assembly if it won't clean up its own human rights record

@amnesty All this is deliberately made, so to train the police for the coming collapse of USA, where chaos will prevail in a horrific manner
Crazy motherfucker.

So the police in one county in Missouri (or, at most one state) will be trained to "handle" the upcoming apocalypse.

I think, for a lot of them, it already is. All it takes is one random with a gun for things to turn south for them.

Not that it excuses it, but I feel a certain sympathy to those sent there--dealing with this.

Don't think it's been mentioned, but at one point Tim was walking through a crowd and I believe an officer commented that he liked Tim's vest and that it looked "slick"

The way Tim responded it seemed like he felt the cop was mocking him about the vest

Yea idk about crips and bloods shit, sounds like a fanfic on reddit, but maybe GD's are helping. It's not the first time street gangs buckled down like that. They did during the 60's and a bit in the 90's.

"Pick up the pace, please! Pick up the pace! Pick up the pace! Pick up the pace!!!!!!!"

Constant, aggressive behavior.
