Quick stupid question: Amnesty International is not like the PETA of human rights, correct? So far they seem to be level headed and have good intentions.

I only ask because I'm not familiar with them. Forgive my ignorance.

One of the news anchors(?) asked if there was anything going on and that was the response pretty much verbatim. No other clarification really outside of the 'fighters' being "those that want to cause trouble" or something similar.
 
Fox News is showing old footage or current? The police keep rushing into the crowd and arresting a single person. They just arrested some middle-aged woman holding a sign.

It's live for me but I'm watching their live stream online. I had to sign in with my cable company to view it, but I'd assume they're showing the same stuff live on TV right now.

To clarify, the stream goes down every time a commercial break happens, so try waiting a few minutes if whatever you're watching seems down.

Antonio French called them fighters on twitter as well.

Those people are worth otherising. They are terrible people that are subverting the protest movement and creating actual dangers for the police and the protestors. Every last one of them need to be behind bars.

Also, screw the cops for empowering them with their clearly needless escalations up to this point and focusing so much on the protestors that looting and the like was able to take place, but still the fighters are even worse.

Yup, they don't care about the protestors. They want to see blood be spilled and they will just walk away as innocents die because of their actions.

They were shot at, everyone in the live stream including cops took cover.

Yeah, they get dressed up like they're in a Call of Duty cosplay competition, I'd expect them to act the part too. It's disgusting. The reports from actual armed forces saying they don't even act like that around civilians is really appalling.

No robbery reported. Has this been confirmed? Did anything happen in the store at all then... ?

Store owners still deny they called 911 or reported the theft... so... bleh
