Yup, you beat me to it. Either of those rooms would make a fantastic Smash stage. Control Tower has a cooler background, could have Space Pirate dropships, the tower collapsing, etc. Ruined Courtyard could have rising frigid water and conduits to control platforms.
Control Tower could be a bigger stage, horizontally. Maybe almost as big as Hyrule Temple. It could stretch from the roof of the East Tower all the way to the roof of the West Tower, with a big open arena between the two. I miss Hyrule Temple, so it would be nice to have a large stage like that. My only concern there is that making a FD version would be hard. Perhaps just one tower by itself.

And for the FD version, they could just cut off both of the towers and use the bridge.
Behind her is just the same thing with another tower, and the FD versions don't seem to care too much about cutting up the initial stages, so BAM.
.....Why am I getting this excited for things that re not going to happen? I.......it would be so cool...

I see what you're getting at, but Zero Suit made appearances in the Prime games before Brawl or Other M were released. It's like Nintendo forgot she wore anything less under that suit.

Nah, if it was written by someone more obscure, they probably wouldn't put themselves in it. Otherwise it'd be obvious.
They "can't write," and yet, the words they committed to paper have captured the hearts and minds of Smash-GAF. I'm kind of envious, to be honest! Just wish this mystery writer would let me edit their work so that it's easier to follow when new characters speak, etc.
I've won English department awards, been published in college journals, and am now paid to write for a living. From my POV, the fanfic lacks polish, but the content is what counts, and to that end it's a lot of fun. To our mystery writer -- keep up the good work.

I'm pretty much the same way. I've never actually liked the Zero Suit in Smash or in Metroid, but I'm way more partial to outfits like Fusion's than the Zero Suit.
That being said the ZSS (in the POTD) on the right REALLLY shows off the jank and awkwardness of some of ZSS's poses.
I would have preferred this outfit.

Folks who said new stages are pretty much spot on . We just got confirmation of Brinstar stage being in 3DS.
Starting to get concerned that we're only seeing stages that were in Brawl, though...
But they're technically Melee stages too? Jungle Japes and Brinstar.
C'mon Sakurai, speed up these stage reveals, need to see more original ones too.

Sure? But they were playable in Brawl. My concern is that they're only porting assets from there.
But isn't that the problem? If the only Melee stages we get are those carried over from Brawl, Fourside and Fountain of Dreams may never return.
Could be the case. I remember also seeing Windy Hill on 3DS and Halberd looking to be exact rips, so eh.
It could just be easier to rip of Brawl assets, lets hope we're wrong. I can't imagine Sakurai going down that route though.

They did begin development of SSB4 by porting Brawl, so while I'm not surprised, I would be very disappointed if we didn't have some SSB64/Non-Brawl Melee stages in there.
