Observation: there have been no Earthbound or Mother enemies in Smash Run. What other series haven't been shown to have Smash Run enemies?

F-Zero, Fire Emblem, Star Fox... Honestly, a lot.

Mr. Saturn and Franklin Badge were shown as items however, so Mother series is still in the game in some form. (Not sure if this was your point but I point this out just in case!)

There's entitled brats for everything out there. And I think Mewtwo being cut from Brawl caused significantly more meltdowns than Ridley not making the roster ever will.

At this point I think there would be more meltdowns about Ridley BEING playable than there would be meltdowns on him not being playable.
