That was Melee. He ran out of time so he had to make a choice between Dedede or clones. He chose clones to beef up the roster.

Yeah I agree with PT in Brawl. He was the first newcomer to make me say "Wow, this game is gonna be awesome!" Of course Sonic made me go *avatar quote* all over the place but yeah.

The newcomers I'm really excited to get my hands on are Palutena, Pac-Man, and Little Mac.

This makes me sad.

I've never used Meowth in the games, but Meowth is still the most solid character in the show. I remember BW teased him joining up with the heroes for a few episodes, and I wished they would've gone with that if they dropped Team Rocket and turned him into the "Iago" (from Aladdin) of the show, the cocky villain-turned-good. I love characters like that.

He would've been fun with Pay Day, using his Guitar, maybe some of his gadgets from the show like pitfalls, bombs, and nets.

First character I'm using in SSB4 is Samus in Adventure Mode because, well, let's face it. This is probably the last good platformer she's going to be in for a long time.

I wish I could remember by first matches ever for 64, Melee, and Brawl.

First 3DS match I play will probably be Free-for-All using Rosalina on 3D Land stage. And then Wii Fit Trainer and Zero Suit Samus. I'm doing it for all the working mothers and little girls out there.

And then probably take a break and do a quick photo session with Little Mac, Captain Falcon, Male Fit Trainer, and Ike. For science!

Guys I don't think we're getting any more character reveals until launch.

Check out this nice image from Gamestop's store page for Smash Bros:

It's a perfect grid (taking into account the longer newcomer banners), and interactive so when you click on someone their full art appears beneath it.

Gamestop usually knows the marketing plans of Nintendo and other companies far ahead of game launches, and has even leaked release dates early. If there were going to be more characters revealed, they would have arranged this differently and left space for others to fit without breaking up the nice grid they've established.

Maybe I'm reading too hard into it but I think it's worth considering.
