If it's any consolation, the original rumor that called Jr. fighting in a Klown Kar also said that the Koopalings would serve as his costume alts.

Which would be fine by me, if it meant I got to play as Roy and Morton, instead.

1. Sakurai never said Ice Climbers, that was added in by an IGN editor.
2. Since the wording was ambiguous, he just as likely meant transforming movesets, since they were two (or three) in one characters.

Still I have a hard time imagining the clusterfuck that would result in all 4 players choosing Chorus Kids. I guess Sakurai will find a way.

I really like the way someone earlier put it (sorry I don't want to dig through the massive amount of posts recently). The Wii U version would have those 5 characters in it to keep the hype going for the Wii U version and if you link the 3DS and Wii U version you unlock them in the 3DS version.

Also, looking at that Klonoa time-lapse, this person would've had to do that x4 (Bowser Jr., Shulk, Duck Hunt and Dr. Mario), and to a smaller degree with the other clones and vets, all to create a fake that could be disproven any PotD of the week... and then this person releases it on a Tuesday, when it could be disproven the next day, rather than the weekend.

Why would someone go through that huge amount of labor for something that could potentially be disproven in mere hours?

Assuming this whole thing is real, this could be the way to avoid delaying the 3DS version even more then they already had to.

I mean, I don't disagree. I've never liked the idea of Chorus Kids as playable. I just want to make sure people aren't citing that interview as Sakurai saying Ice Climbers are limited by 3DS since we've gone over that a lot.

You underestimate The People of the Internet. And over the course of making this fake, he could have easily swapped out his own custom icons when characters were actually revealed, like Meta Knight.

A new 3DS stage would be enough IMO. I'm not leaning either way, but I'd be really happy with the roster if this was it (counting on Lucas as DLC. If not, then this is so fake).
