Pray for page 2. I'm pretty pleased with the roster, but the stage select is a bit underwhelming; I'm hoping there's a second page, or not everything has been unlocked.
There could be a second page, but why mix new and old stages when they can be neatly organised per page like in Brawl? I can live with these being the 3DS stages, but I'll be really disappointed if the same is gonna happen in the Wii U version.
Hypothetically, I will admit, while a Dr. Mario fan, it's strange to bring him back but not Mewtwo. Literally the most requested cut veteran who had a revival in popularity this and last year.
If there is Dlc, I guess they just want launch the game at time but they don't have finish these characters, so they will send these free after the launch(like Uprising).

Actually, that /v/ leak came out shortly after a Smash Boards leak, iirc. So it was likely just piggy backing off of that, much like the Shulk screens are possibly doing.

Guys, there's no way the leaker add the thick lines if it was awake, is there? How would you notice that? I'm definitely sticking to #TeamReal, with a sub team of #TeamThickLineIsFine.

It'd seem like an odd use of resources, however, Lucas was the only character the Gematsu leaker explicitly said was possibly getting cut because they didn't think they could finish him. So it seems plausable that Lucas would be moved to DLC because they couldn't finish him in time.
The player 1 UI design is different. There's no level underneath him so it just defaults to always being thick I assume? That was my original theory.
Same with the CPUs in the video. They're not selectable by the player playing so there's no button underneath their name so they default to always being thick.

ShockingAlberto explained how this works earlier. ESRB gets video and documentation, but often companies are obligated to showcase the filenaming, as well. That, along with naming different builds for internal tracking purposes, explains the filename.

Given the crowded nature of the 3DS screen, names might be dropped in favor of more visible icons once you hit a certain capacity. Or maybe they've just been dropped straight up -- they're still displayed on the bottom screen once selected, after all.
And Wario doesn't have lazy eye, his pupils are concentrated by his nose, hence it's hard to see in that tiny pic where his pupil is on the one eye.

I agree. It would be nice to have some eyes on these images that aren't thread lurkers. Who wants to make it? Be sure to include the full pics of the leaks and not just the omnipic. Including some for/against info would also be useful.
