Im guessing this will be pretty much the argument from the cop. Dont know much about guns but this guy broke it down pretty well.

Ex-Marine Gunner: Ferguson Shot Pattern Vindicates Officer Wilson
I guess non-Anglo-American's just don't have the concept of a civilized justice system that Anglo-Americans do...Kinder said there was “no question” that race was playing a role in what was happening in Ferguson.
“We do not do justice in America in the streets though,” he argued. “We have legal processes that are set in motion, that are designed after centuries of Anglo-American jurisprudence tradition, they’re designed to protect the rights and liberties of everyone involved.”
“That includes the Brown family, for justice for them and for the community. It also includes the officer who has not yet been charged,” he added. “Our constitutional and our Bill of Rights protections have to be followed here, and we do not do justice in the streets.”
“That’s one of the great advances of Anglo-American civilization, is that that we do not have politicized trials. We let the justice system work it out.”
Missouri lt. gov.: We need ‘Anglo-American’ justice in Ferguson, not racial protests
I guess non-Anglo-American's just don't have the concept of a civilized justice system that Anglo-Americans do...
Please tell me I'm misunderstanding something about these statements because this seems absolutely insane for someone in his position to say. Anglo-american isn't even a dog whistle, I'm pretty sure it just straight up means white person. I would think that a statement like that would end any political career, but no one seems to care. Maybe there are just too many screwed up things going on for people to notice.

What the fuck. What the hell is wrong with this guy? They should have cut him off for ignoring the issue at hand.

the thing i find amusing is when white pundits go on and say "they have to trust the process" they have to trust the "justice process"Missouri lt. gov.: We need Anglo-American justice in Ferguson, not racial protests

I'm sure some of them dont mean anything by it, but it speaks to ignorance. Why should minorities trust the process, what in the history of the united states says they should trust the process?
Reposting from the other thread:
I still say he was framed.I...no
@WesleyLowery: Vast majority of those arrested in Ferguson are local. Out of 155 total:
Missouri: 126
Illinois: 9

St. Ann, Missouri, police officer who pointed assault rifle at peaceful protester in #Ferguson relieved of duty and suspended indefinitely.
I watched this live.
I still say he was framed.
I still say he was framed.
Damn..throw everyone away.
The overwhelming majority of those arrests came for refusal to disperse, with 123 people facing that charge.
Nice thread

It certainly isn't Iraq. Had we threatened to shoot a journalist or news crew there would have actually been consequence from our chain of command. The sad thing is that I'm having trouble expressing shock here. This police department has practically been going down a list of scummy shit to do to the community.
I wish somebody recorded a clip of the Tim stream from Sunday where that lady shouted "THIS ISN'T FUCKING IRAQ!" when she was calling out some cops that were threatening to shoot journalists.
Police have been caught threatening to shoot journalists tho...Tim was one. Another guy pointed his gun at a group last night. Edit: he was suspended. Kudos to the police officials. It certainly isn't Iraq. Had we threatened to shoot a journalist or news crew there would have actually been consequence from our chain of command.
It is getting to the point where the police state spouting crazies don't need to make arguments that we're already there because the government is making it for them.

Good to see that guy was actually suspended. Just talking about him.So that officer that was pointing the gun at everybody got in trouble
St. Ann officer removed after pointing gun, threatening Ferguson protesters
For all those wondering St. Ann is maybe 5 miles west of Ferguson (close to airport)
These protesters don't know that the shooting wasn't justified. Their acts of protest are therefore unfounded and illegitimate. Even if they aren't looting and vandalizing themselves, they're creating the environment that's allowing the disruption and crime to take place. We need to send a clear message that these disruptions of civil order will not be permitted.
If the protests aren't suppressed, America loses.

Uhhh....... Please tell me this is benji's alt
Whoah. Never heard of this guy but his intellec oozes through the tv
Oh I apologize! :SI think either I didn't convey what I was saying correctly or you misunderstood. I know the police threatened journalists, there is proof on Youtube. I'm saying the fact that apparently nothing is being done about it is disgusting.
We don't know that. It's funny that in all the links posted there isn't one to the video showing Brown intimidating the store owner or the fact that the cop had an orbital fracture. Rather or not the shooting was justified is up to a jury decide. What is NOT up for debate is the way police are mistreating citizens and trampling on the rights to assembly, speech, privacy, and freedom from unreasonable searches.
Apparently the audio of one of the cell phone videos I just saw on CNN has a conversation on it from two people there talking about how Brown ran away from Wilson but then ran back at him.
You heard that or did CNN just speculate?

Can anyone bullet point the latest from last night till now? I am working 11 hour shifts today, Thursday, and Friday, so I'm going to be missing (and did miss, last night) most of night live streams due to sleep.

One journalist from VICE had his media credential ripped off by a police officer, who said, "This doesn't mean shit."
“We do not do justice in America in the streets though,” he argued. “We have legal processes that are set in motion, that are designed after centuries ofAnglo-Americantradition, they’re designed to protect the rights and liberties of everyone involved.”
“That’s one of the great advances ofAnglo-Americancivilization, is that that we do not have politicized trials. We let the justice system work it out.”
