The case against officer go fuck yourself is much clearer than Wilson. It's still unclear if he did anything wrong so if he is suspended without pay he could sue the department for treating him unjustly.

This is true. #OfficerGoFuckYourself's punishment is suspension without pay, which usually leads to a firin'. Wilson's got way more skin in the game, and his situation is far more murky.

Well, the St. Ann cop didn't get pummeled to near unconsciousness by super saiyan Mike.

DAMMIT NAPPA

I heard that Officer GFY was nearly beaten unconscious by the protesters he was yelling at...telepathically.

For some reason, that sign that says, "I am a woman" is seriously cracking me up right now.

Think its based on this

I fail to see the point you are making, because the cop in the wrong did have something happen to him.
That's progress.

lol and the cop murdering someone inst in the wrong ok... shrugs Im not saying the cop that pointed the gun at people wasn't wrong he deserves to LOSE his job... soooo many do after seeing the shit they've done for the past two weeks.....

Whoa, you're not getting what he's saying. He's saying Wilson's deal is far less clear cut than this.

And the reason they haven't gone after other people is because their faces were hidden; that guy didn't have his helmet on. You could identify him.

Generally, pointing your gun at someone who is presenting no threat and telling them that you will kill them is a crime, even for Johnny Law.

While I agree too often cops face no repercussions, I don't want people suspended without pay without evidence. Plenty of time to throw his arse in jail. Suspension with pay should be the norm until a verdict is reached. The problem is that there is never a verdict, because there is rarely any evidence that stands up to the blue code.

Why are articles keep getting posted of accounts from 'unamed sources'? This is the same as the unidentified caller who claims her account was accurate even though she had said it was Wilson that told her.

Because the situations aren't equal.

One shows an officer clearly threatening to kill someone while pointing his gun at people and telling them to go fuck themselves all caught on video. There's zero dispute about what happened in that video... it's clear as day.

The other is being investigated, and despite those declaring him automatically guilty, we have systems in place to handle these things. If there was conclusive video of the entire event it'd be a different story, we don't.

So, someone did film the shooting of Kajieme Powell (not graphic but is still a video of a man dieing, so be warned about that). That's the guy with the knife yelling "shoot me" killed yesterday.

It doesn't really line up with the police chief saying he "pulled out a knife and held it in an "overhand" position, above his shoulder", when the video shows his arms were completely at his side the entire time. They also said they opened fire when he was within 4 feet, when it was clearly more like 4 yards.

A lot of the media also used the word "charged" which also clearly isn't true, as it was a very slow walk, but I don't think that wording originated from the police.

yea if anything even if Wilson gets off.. I wish and hope for a NATION wide law ALL COPS where cameras if on duty..at all times and no fucking turning them off at all..

They should implement a system where it prevents cameras from being turned off while on duty. The example showed on CNN shows that the wire can easily be disconnected from the camera just like unplugging your headphones from your ipod.

also routine calibration they already have to have done on their radar guns and breathalyzers

Yeah and there would suddenly be 50% that "malfunction" or go missing like those antennas on the police cruisers in LA.

Damn, no words. I'm not sure what the proper action would have been for the police here, but I don't think that was it. And the fact that the video does not match their story doesn't help matters. Seemed like 9 shots to me if I heard them all properly?

I now wish a lot of people had cam glasses. Heck even google glasses.

wow. I don't get the need to cuff someone after they're dead.

Dude was out of his mind for what he was doing but what the two cops did after shooting him is so wrong.

I couldn't watch through the video, it's just too heartbreaking...

That's a damn shame.

Hindsight is certainly 20/20, but aren't cops taught to use their guns as a last resort?

Exactly. I mean, 5 yards can still be covered in literally 1 second, so I personally don't exactly blame them for deciding they need to stop the situation right there, but so many shots were fired. You even hear two shots after he was fully on the pavement. And then, instead of just disarming him, and keeping watch until medical help comes, they turn him over and cuff him, potentially aggravating the injuries further.

And someone needs to answer why Wilson and these guys both chose to use a firearm and not a taser.

edit: looks like this is old news which was posted on page 2. Oh well, ill leave it here for the new comers who missed this 'turn of events'

Apparently Foxnews has an inside source claiming the cop who shot Brown was "nearly beaten unconscious" before the shooting which took Brown's life....

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/08/2...en-before-shooting-michael-brown-says-source/

I'm assuming their "source" is that super biased article that's been floating around and then landed on drudge report. Slime working its way down the drain.

Im not too worried about it. It'd have been the easiest thing in the world to just show a pic of the dudes face days ago to show the public how the altercation went down. I'd be absolutely stunned if that actually happened. And honestly if it did wind up coming out, I'd be hard pressed not to start thinking it was a conspiracy only because I see no reason to hold back that sort of information.

"Tasers are a lot less reliable than guns" is what I heard way back earlier in this topic.

Jesus christ, he's asking for it, but that's so fucked up.

(BEFORE you jump on me, he literally walks up to the cop car shouting "Shoot me")

Just to be clear: having a bit of a swelling on your face is not a serious injury and isn't the fractured eyeball shit that was spreading around conservative media a few days ago.
