No there's no bomb on any plane, they're trying to ruin some game dev's day by getting a plane he's on redirected by making a bomb threat to that flight.
 
Recap:

LizardSquad took credit for DDoSing PSN, apparently in the name of ISIS or something.
FamedGod got pissed and gave out IP addresses of everyone in LizardSquad.
LizardSquad apparently think that there on explosives on flight of John Smedley, President of Sony Online Entertainment, which has apparently been redirected.
LizardSquad are now tweeting "funny" videos which include footage from 9/11.
FamedGod will be PSN back if we report LizardSquad on Twitter.
But worst of all Brazzers was affected.

I refuse to believe that Lizard has control of their own twitter anymore. Their personal IPs were just fcking leaked. And then we have that previous tweet from them alluding to them being hacked. I think they got hacked and now whoever is in control is trying to get them super fucked.

This Fame person brought down PSN. A group of others called Lizard has DDOSed lots of other things, but most importantly, caused a flight redirection through a bomb scare on a plane. They then also claimed credit for the PSN takedown.

Fame then posted the Lizard group members' IP addresses and told people to report Lizard's Twitter page. He says if it gets deleted, he'll "restore" PSN from its DDOS status.

Thank god, that isn't something to joke about :(. Hope those developers are okay after all this is over.

I guess so since it's a subscription service. Wouldn't they just add the missed time? I don't have psplus so i don't know, but i don't think this was enough to guarantee me another free game in my opinion.
 
Damn. All I wanted to do was chat with some friends and play a few games on PSN after a less than stellar couple of days.

Anyone have an idea how long it takes on average before things return to normal?

TimDog and mistermediaX have to be characters. Especially mistermediaX. I once took a few ours and went through all the stuff he posted... He is waaaay over the top, even for a hardcore fanboy.

What is that "redirect flight" thing? Im reading the thread but still cant understand it.


Edit: Are those guys on USA? If they are and get caught theyre fucked.

They hinted that a bomb was on a American Airlines flight because the CEO of SOE is onboard.

His flight got redirected because of the scare.

This means the FBI is now involved. And most likely homeland security.
