*Sigh* This is my first time, figures.

yes, I've done every mmorpg launch since guild wars and its the same thing everytime. You either play the week it comes out, experience server crashes, insane queues or just straight up down time due to server bugs/issues, or you take off one of the following weeks where most of the bugs are solved. Sure queues still exist and what not(will be a little different for destiny, there shouldn't be any queue's) however the server will be in a much more stable condition.

It probably came up in this gigantic thread already, but just to add: my Xbox Live account has currently lost its subscription info and payment history, meaning that there is no Walking Dead: Episode 5 for me tonight. :-( According to the support the current general service availability problems are to blame.

Also, even network hackers aren't supporting Nintendo. Everything works fine on my Wii U.

The Wii U is all by itself.

Is PSN still screwed up? I'm having trouble logging onto the network, but I'm not sure if it's because PSN is having issues or because of the PS3's extremely crappy wi-fi.

I get the feeling these guys aren't even in America. There's no way anyone is stupid enough to make bomb threats to airplanes and DDoS this many services while inside U.S. borders. Internet anonymity only goes so far.

Day 1 may be rough, day 2 will be fine, it's not as crazy as he is making it out to be because, it's not a real MMO, and they just stress tested this stuff not even a month ago.

It's just my precautions that I take lol, shit call of duty week 1 is terrible and it was all P2P....it was just the matchmaking part that the servers did and it couldn't even handle that for the first few weeks

if ya would have set it when you got the console you would have never had that problem lol. That was the first thing I did launch night was activate it as the main console.

But, I wouldn't go as far as saying you don't care what happens to PSN. Got to say though during that down town I had to go out and buy a physical copy of Ni No Kuni because my download apparently never completed.....uh that was infuriating. But now I feel better because if I downloaded NI No Kuni on my PS3 it would have taken roughly 3 hours alone to install.....PS3 was TERRIBLE at install times. First time I popped in Drakengard 3 physical pretty sure it took 2 hours from disc insert to actually start playing the damn game XD..

Lol.. I actually DID activate it on launch date. But guess what? That console was defected and I had to replace it... No complains now. I got good 4 hours of Diablo 3 fix yesterday with my friend

WTF is going on?
How can a bunch of kids keep DDOSing major, major services this long without a special squad kicking down doors within 48 hours?
Is this a lack of international treaties?

Not 100 % sure if this is the correct topic to ask this but..

I'm home sick today, and was planning on buying both D3 and Infamous LL (and possibly Garden Warfare). I've bought three prepaid cards, $50 x2 and a $10 (using pre-paid cards because I'm buying games on the US PSN, and playing them on my Norwegian account)

First I got the 'An error occurred (E-82000002)' message. Then I got the E-82000102 message. Tried a couple of more times and it went back to E-82000002. Now I'm getting E-82000156 saying the codes are no longer valid.

That's when I bought the $10 just to check, and I got the same message (not valid).

Anyone else having problems adding funds to their accounts?
I'm guessing it's temporarily disabled, but I also thought PSN was up and running again.
