Only after they took it down for maintenance. Initially if you got that far you'd get this weird hybrid half-logged-in/half-not, which was actually worse than just being blocked, you still couldn't do anything but would get all kinds of fun errors.

I can't add funds to my US account, Even though the actual US PSN store seems to be fine, I keep getting PSN error 80023102 on my PS3 and 502 errors galore on the webstore when I try to redeem my PSN gift card. I guess this DDoS business is the reason.

I'm not convinced they tried as hard as their attack on Sony. Seems to me its a fanboy trying to make a point.
I asked this earlier, what can Sony do to stop these attacks? If Microsoft can prevent them, what are they doing differently from Sony?

I think it has a lot to do with Microsoft having their services in different locations, while Sony has all of them or most of them in the same location, making it easier to fill it with fake traffic.
It's not a shit post. These DDoSing assholes went after Xbox Live just like PSN and they were not successful. That means Sony needs to do what MS is doing for Xbox Live because it fucking stopped Microsoft's service from going down. I'm paying Sony money now for online so they better improve.
Strange, I'm still on. Currently, playing a game of Conquest in BF4 on PS4. East Coast as well.
