Have we gotten any confirmation that every character will at least have one alt costume out of the 8 alts their supposed to have? I'm hoping that some of the characters won't be stuck with just palette swaps.

As far as alts, I would think that every alt would need at least four pallet swaps for team's sake, wouldn't they? Or did they come up with an alternative to that?

Yeah, there's an outline around the characters with the color in 3DS. Plus Bowser Jr doesn't have colors, right?
Nope! I don't know what some characters like Pit and Marth would get for alts, to he honest.

No outlines, as far as we know, but Sakurai already confirmed you can pick whatever color you want regardless of what team you're on in the Wii U version.

Even if it is a staff, no reason he can't he be a clone. Outside of smaller differences, all weapons in Uprising shoot beams, can be used for Melee, etc.

I'm loving all the Dark Pit hate, as I'm pretty sure it's mostly coming from people who didn't play/are ignorant of Kid Icarus: Uprising, and those people are bad and should feel bad. Cry more, please! I can't wait to see how he plays/looks/sounds. He's more than different enough from Pit character-wise that they could do some interesting stuff with him.

Probably, but as far as I know we didn't hear about it. Sakurai didn't add any more songs today though out of spite, and the director of W101 is lashing out at everyone.
I played, enjoyed and completed KI:U.
Dark Pit is shit.
And KI doesn't deserve 3 reps as well as all the other stuff it's had represented if DK and Metroid can't have 3 reps
After thinking it through I'm going to say it amazes me too, but not for the same reasons. I think it's crazy when such a wide audience latches onto a Pokemon like that when there are so many to choose from.
I guess Lucario is like Frozen in that regard (incidentally I like both).
Dark Pit doesn't deserve a spot in my Smash roster but he might make a good coaster for my drink!
Dude, if only they didn't zoom out the camera so much. :-(

Pic of the day. Spectator Mode is available even on the compact 3DS version!! In this mode, you can watch players all around the world fight and make bets with in-game gold. Wager wisely by checking out the player names, rules, win rates, odds, fighters, and stage!!
Being able to cheer someone on is what really makes spectating matches fun. This time, 1st and 2nd place will get prizes in four-player matches, and spectators can bet the gold they win on Bonus Chances.
You know what, I wouldn't be surprised if you as a spectator can infact press a "Cheer" button, and if enough of you press it the in-game cheering begins.

What? The Tharja model seems too low quality to be a playable skin, but it's not the Awakening model at all. Same goes to Tiki. Both are original models, not Awakening rips. Their proportions would be much more squished, not realistic, if it were actually their battle models from Awakening.

Eh, there's two main differences here I feel.
1. Dark Pit is probably a clone, like you've said.
2. Pretty much every single character in KIU (one popular female request nonwithstanding) is a really interesting character that would make them perfect for a Smash Bros game. Compare this to the number of viable, important, and interesting characters in Metroid (Samus... Adam?), and even DK (pretty much Dixie or Cranky, and that's it). It makes sense for a game with so many characters to have more playable reps, or at least that's how I always justified Star Fox in my head.
Basically just yelling at anyone who tweets him leaked pics haha
If people on gaf/twitter are to be believed, nintendo is suing the person. Supposedly an NOA employee in charge of making and/or sending the ESRB video to the ESRB. It's possible he showed the videos to his friends and they're the ones who leaked it.
That's how I first read it, but it seems like that's probably not the case. Would be nice to know people are rooting for you.
