Super lame. The scene isn't sexual in the slightest.

I'm sure that when you explain to the clergy that really it's about extremists in a politically powerful religious body trying to publicly shame a woman for her sexuality, they'll be more understanding.

I would hope they have a backup plan in place for the scene if this falls through. They had to know getting approval would be difficult. I don't know if it would be possible to dress up a length of streets in some other city to look like Dubrovnik/King's Landing or if it would be possible to do it entirely green screen? Obviously, neither would compare with how they want to do it, but it seems like they'll need to think up something.

She does it nearly nude instead of nude. Not that hard to think up.

I was thinking it read something worse, but it's just enough bait for kids to want to read, much like reading "where is Lady Stoneheart?" and going "WHO?"

Hopefully they'll make Aryas transformation into an assassin more interesting in the series. I'm thinking a fantasy version of Leon with Jacquen teaching Arya the tricks of the trade.

Hey I caught a glimpse of that Pompeii movie Kit Harrington is in.

He fits the role well.

He seems to be very Orlando Bloomish tbh.

I am at the Melisandre chapter in book 5 and so far i am really liking it more than 4. It has a better pace, more stuff happening, and more interesting plots. Brienne's and Sam's chapters were mostly boring to read to me. But in this book there are no boring chapters so far.

Yup, Brienne and Sam made reading AFFC a chore at times

Yeah, ADWD was pretty good overall (great in a lot of places) - the main problem is that it builds and builds and then just ends right on the cusp of big events for just about every story-line. Literary blue-balls.

knowing D&D, he will probably have a scene with maisie williams of some sort, so the audience knows they are in the same city

Filming in Croatia could just mean that he's getting a King's Landing scene with his visit to Cersei. Or, yeah, it could be an Arya scene in Braavos.

Also from that link regarding Cersei's walk of shame:
Also: Speaking of Thrones production in Croatia, earlier this week there were reports claiming that a key outdoor scene from George R.R. Martin’s A Dance with Dragons focusing on Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister was held up due to a conflict with a Dubrovnik church (I don’t recommend searching for this spoiler-filled news unless you have read the book). At the HBO Emmy party Monday night, producers told me that the snag was “old news” and that a new location for the sequence (which isn’t shooting for at least another month) has long been secured.

I'm confused, I thought the walk of shame would be another season away. Unless it comes at the very end of the season or something. She's not even started going crazy on the show yet, has she?

Yes. Cersei has been crazy for a little while at this point. We just didn't know properly yet because her first POV chapter is in AFfC... Which is basically exactly where we're at in the series.

Oh most defintely her spiral has been going on for quite a few seasons now and the crazy train is really gonna start rolling now.

I figured it was next season. In such a packed season 4, they still had time to show Qyburn working on Gregor. I think Jaime deciding to leave a power-hungry and crazy Cersei after Tywin's death and Tyrion's escape will actually come quite early.

They are cutting a lot of her stuff, which to be honest is not that much. The reason it seems like it will be a lot is because usually the Kings Landing location has a lot more characters, but now at the beginning of next season there's only: Cersei, Jamie, Margery, Tommen, High Sparrow, Pycelle, Qyburn, Loras, Olenna, Mace and Bronn? Last season had those in addition to: Tyrion, Tywin, Oberyn, Joffery, Shae, Varys, some Brienne, Elleria.

That's basically cut in half, with four major characters dying, and the rest leaving on their own plots. This season is going to be a lot of Cersei bitch fest with Margery and then arguing with the High Sparrow.

Yeah, they've been playing up her drinking from the start, and her conflict with Margaery over Tommen is already set up, so they have the seeds in place there. All they need to do is continue with that while developing the religious stuff and they should be able to move quickly. I would still think that the walk won't be til episode the finale, or maybe episode 9 at the earliest. Arrest in episode 8 and walk in episode 10 seems like it's be the best pacing to me.

I wouldn't have a problem with this, personally. We could see him leaving Braavos just as Arya arrives at the docks.

CAPTAIN: That's Tycho Nestoris, banker from the old Iron Bank.

ARYA: The Iron Bank?

CAPTAIN: Aye, the Iron Bank of Braavos. The purse of kings, you could say. Master Tycho is off to meet with the boy king of the Sunset peoples. Something about a loan.

Did you just make that up?

That may very well be the case, but what I posted wasn't an excerpt from anything. Just an example of a 20-second exchange that could let the show audience understand that Arya is in the same city that Davos and Stannis visited.

If it isn't already really obvious for the audience, you could just show that big ass statue when Arya arrives.
