Those expire pretty soon (they'll eventually be back). In case anyone wonders why Nintendo download deals are rarely mentioned. It kind of overlaps with the monthly Nintendo download threads.

That is a recent change as back in March they charged me reservation price on Xenoblade.

Yeah, i noticed... i was refered by the Avast Price plugin from an amazon page where they DID ship to the rest of Europe. On Amazon.it the same bundle is €190 and they ship to EU for under €10. A Dutch gaffer bought one of those from there.

Well, from first hand experience (had a similar case with importing games from Japan) I know that in Belgium customs does not handle such cases themselves. But as said, maybe we are the exception. :-) I assumed this was organised on a pan-european basis.

and I am looking for a good cheap HDD to replace the 320GB one as it is nearly full.

500GB is fine but maybe a 1 TB would be better?
 
What's the most I could expect to save via Flubit in terms of percentages? I've been offered 12% off Bayonetta 2 but I'm not sure if I should accept it or try again.

Also, has anyone had any experience getting Flubit items from Hitachi Trade Limited? I put in a request for Theatrhythm and was given 12% off from that company.

12% is about the max you'll get now, it seems to range from 6%-12% for me.

I think you'll find it is Hitari Trade Limited unless a Japanese construction company has moved into selling 3DS games...no experience otherwise.

Only odd thing I see is looking at their website they don't seem to have a pre-order page up for Theatrhythm Curtain Call (I'm assuming that is what you were ordering).

As for flubit offers. On the circle pad pro XL (which still hasn't arrived) first time they game me 6% so I just offered again and got 12%.

The only problematic game currently is AssCreed 4, which has a 2 GB patch.
The Mario Kart 8 DLC will be 2 GB as well.

Besides that 8GB is totally fine and you could also run out of disk space on the 32GB one. The games, that do have patches, have really small patches normally. There are also no game installations a la PS3, PS4, 360 or Bone. And in any case - you can always connect an external harddrive to the Wii U.

Thanks for the replies, I had a feeling that this would be the case. Yep, I did mean Hitari. I also looked at the web site and couldn't find Curtain Call which is why I asked. The company seems to have an eBay page which looks ok so I'll give it a go.


In other news, did anyone order Lego Batman 2 from The Game Collection recently? I opened my copy today but there is no Club Nintendo code even though it's on the list.

WB games tend not to come with slips in physical versions. Contact the Nintendo UK customer support with proof of purchase and they might be able to generate you a code though (I'd ask if it is possible first to avoid unnecessary provision of proof).

Just a note: if someone wants to actually play a typical AssCreed game, then AC3 is not for that person. It's the most Non-Ass-Creed Ass-Creed game, which to me is a good thing and that's why I enjoyed it. If someone wants to play as a native American, then I fully recommend this game, especially for that price. <-- hopefully this makes sense
 
Did anyone order Metro Redux from shop4world (someone posted the deal on here) well if you didn't you're in luck because my order still says 'awaiting release date' so I don't think they're gonna ship it any time soon, they have my money though!

Don't buy from shop4world apparently.

Eh....what?

It's very similar to all previous AC games, with the main difference being that it's much much worse.

If you want to play a game as a Native American then I guess it's a good choice. If you want to play a game that's actually fun maybe try something else.
 
Anyone seen NHL 15 on PS4 cheap anywhere? I'm away on holiday when it comes out, so I don't mind if it won't be delivered at release. Usual places I've checked are all £45.

I don't remember having the ability to hunt animals in previous AssCreeds. There were also larger and larger cities in previous AssCreeds and that's simply not the case in AC3. There are also almost no assassinations in AC3. Instead there is a very large open world for hunting. Which means all the typical AC control issues are not nearly as bad in AC3. And then there are also the naval missions, which are also really nice.

Like I said - if you enjoyed the previous AssCreeds, you probably won't like AC3. That's what you are calling "much much worse" is just AC3 not being a typical AC-game, which to me is actually a good thing. In my opinion AC1+AC2 were absolute ass. I stopped playing the series back then. I bought AC3 because it was so cheap and I was surprised, that I liked it that much. It's actually "Native American"'s Creed.

Wii U version having no tearing and a clear TV screen without all the HUD crap was also nice.

If you want to play a game as a Native American then I guess it's a good choice. If you want to play a game that's actually fun maybe try something else.

Hunting animals and such actually can be fun for some people (like for example me). I enjoyed that too in Metal Gear Solid 3.
 
Any good deals on a PS Vita and Tearaway bundle?

I want to buy my significant other's 10 year old brother a Vita (as vita is life and I LOVE mine), but he's not real big into gaming so the only games i'm sure he will like is Tearaway, LittleBigPlanet and Mario Kart type games (I'm thinking ModNation should do it).

I saw a bundle on Amazon which was a Vita and LBP with Tearaway but it was £300!!!!!!

I bought my PS4 with a Wave blue controller and BF4 for £300!!!! I'm not crazy to pay that much!

Basically everything you liked about it is much better in ass creed 4 which as a whole is the best assasins creed game imo.

I had to quit 3 it was that bad.
