Yeah, it matches around your skill level, which takes your bench into account.

Oh. 0_0

Even on the same tier? I'll try it XD. I'm about to hit UR++ and a little over UR in KoTR at the moment so I'll definitely try it once I max all of my SR Pros.

I saw a Pro Legendary Triple H, he has several stats over 1k. Is he the best card ingame or something, sure looks like it.

Just had to play the #1 in my KotR. It turned out to be a really easy match which I won 3-0. I can pretty much slack now as long as I stay in qualification range I guess.

Going to prepare some maxed out Rares to feed to the reward. It is nice to be able to queue with the new card right away.

That is...actually a very good point. 0_0 Never thought of that.

Well...I guess I'll think of that when I get more URs and Epics later down the line. XD
Yeah for my first couple hundred matches I did the whole every direction thing, and then it dawned on me how much better my team would be if I only used two non conflicting directions. It gives you way more options and flexibility. Example would be using, say, Ricky Steamboat and the Uso brothers. Steamboat is a right alignment and Jimmy Uso is a left alignment. Generally you would tag them together, but say speed is the stat for the match, then you'll want to use Jey Uso since Jimmy Uso has incredibly shitty speed. Even though you don't get the stat boost, you'll still end up better off using Jey Uso. You would use Jimmy Uso for all the other stats though. So you end up having 2 options (3 if your other card isn't conflicting alignment) instead of handcuffing yourself to just 1.

I'm levelling mine now I've had 5 Vinces lol!

Waiting for my KOTR to finish so I can combine my fully levelled Andre the giants.

Lol how'd you get 5?!

My pro Vince is lv 27 with like 337 charisma. No one that level is close to that. I'm even throwing him in toughness matches since it's like 240

Wait so they fixed the common bench exploit RIGHT before I started using it? Go figure.

Edit: I can't complain TOO much considering I got an epic Macho Man to complement my Pro UR Hogan. So far my auto-picks have been Yokozuna (my starter) for Rare, Naomi for Super Rare, Macho Man for Ultra Rare, and Macho Man again for Epic. It's a shame Naomi doesn't have a Legendary because I'd love to have her as an auto-pick.

Not really. You get 20 energy by benching people, but what's the point when you can get energy cards and a much easier path to the final? The matchmaking remains the same.

It's a decent alternative to anyone who can't grab energy cards all the time I think. If you have a bench nearly as strong as your main team, swapping out every 3 games is at least viable now.

Yeah I mean it's probably a smart fix as it means you can get by without stockpiling a ton of picks or playing a ton between matches, but I play a ton either way so it makes it a bit harder for me. Still, I should at least dominate this KotR without too much trouble as I've intentionally avoided leveling my Pro UR Hogan until the matching has finished and the KotR brackets are finalized. Now what I REALLY need is to get something to replace my Pro Rare Eva. Oh and of course to find a decent left-aligned card to replace my otherwise worthless Pro SR Vince.

Edit: I'm also dumbfounded at how many Andres people are still getting and I have yet to get one after 6276 picks.

Yeah I kind of lucked into getting an all blue alignment. My lineup is Max Pro SR Bray Wyatt (Right), Level 21 Epic Macho Man (Right), Max Pro SR Vince (Left), Level 22 Pro UR Hogan (Right), and Max Pro Rare Eva. The ONLY reason Vince is still around is for forming tag teams, as he actually has the second lowest Charisma rating right now and even Bray's Charisma is pretty high. I know Edge is a much better Left option but are there any others out there?

Fair enough, but if we got matched with my method, my team would be way better than yours so you'd have a much harder time of it, no matter who you put in.

Wouldn't we not be matched together at all? If you've put commons in your deck, you'd be at the bottom range of the KOTR tier. With a full proper bench, I'd be near the top range.

Not really. I might have some pros between 2 tiers. My last UR KOTR run had the bar 3/4s full.

Basic strategy question (I'm not great at this). Is it a good idea to train one of my main cards using 30-odd randoms that I won't use? Or should I beef them up a bit first by training them amongst themselves?

I believe it's best to just train straight up. I think individual cards are worth more than trained or combined cards. Even a max pro card is probably worth less experience than all the cards it took to make it.

I'm sure there's plenty of other cards. Ultimate Warrior immediately comes to mind. At least I believe he's a left alignment.

It's very stupid how you get energy cards when you already have 5/5. I've gotten like 4 out of the last 15. Pretty ridiculous. At least let me carry more than 5

And when you have none they're impossible to get!

I know how you feel.

When I was in the tournament KoTR, suddenly finding more energy cards became almost impossible. I use to be able to find 1-2 before card reset, but then? I was lucky to find one after 40 minutes!

Than after the tournament ended with me barely getting to the finals and than just lose crushingly in the finals, I do some exhibition matches, and suddenly I was getting energy cards like candy.

Unbelievable lol XD

That's why you start to stockpile picks as soon as you hit 5... as long as you're playing the KotR route. Basically what I do now is draw until I get 5 energy cards, then just hit back after every exhibition match until I use my energy cards and then draw until I get 5 again. It works pretty well. Right now I use energy once every 2 KotR matches. I tried stretching it to once every 3 matches, but I lost the very first time I tried it so I don't think I'll try that again anytime soon.

I wonder how difficult it will be to qualify in a Legendary KotR. I would try, but at the same time I don't want to be locked into it for 48 hours if I don't stand a chance. I'll lose any match that involves a Pro Legendary card.

Personally, I would fill up on Max Pro Epics before trying. After you do that, there's no point in doing anything else BUT Legendary.

His toughness and charisma stats are pretty good.

They should've used skinny jeans Batista for at least one of the cards if not all of them.

His toughness is really all he has. His speed is shit, his power of all things is pretty shitty, and his charisma is nothing special when you consider a card like ADR has the exact same charisma and more speed and power.

I was comparing him to my only other SR Pro, Brock Lesnar, who manages to break the 300 mark on power but is weaker than Batista in TOU and CHA.

Xavier Woods has by far the coolest picture in Ultra Rare.

So fly.

Going for Legendary KotR after this Epic finishes tonight. I probably won't place first, but this is getting a little too easy, 41-1. All due to the common bench obviously, but still.

I'd like to think that I atleast have a chance to do well in Legendary. I might have to dodge some people in the Brackets who are too good, but at the same time I won't be getting replacable rewards.

I wonder when I should feed away all the other Pro cards I had, theres just too little space to keep everything.

I love Xavier Woods, he's carried my ass so hard. I just can't seem to get any Rare+ Divas. Everything I have is maxed out as best I can. Fucked up training AJ into pro. Maxed the first one, got the second one to 13/15 and accidentally pressed combine instead of train :(

Currently at 773 - 162 in Exhibition. Entered 2 KOTR's. Won my first one at Rare and about to win my next one at Super Rare.

Team is working well, annoying how many pay to winners I'm seeing.

I like it when I see them not getting max stats on PRO EPICS.

I'm starting to see them now. 200 games played in the Ultra Rare + bracket with an epic champion :lol

I just avoid those games.

Playing everyone with 600+ games played

On the official forums I've read that in Legendary KotR tier, the bar fills up. So you can't do the common bench thing there. You'll meet the toughest opponents available. Not really I look forward to.

Question guys... In the actual KOTR bracket who does the 1st seeded guy play in the second round? Is it the 4 or 5? Or is it the 3 or 6?

The number 1 guy has a damn good team and it's very likely that he's going to win. I'm trying to avoid him at all costs, so I need to come in 2nd place or I need to start losing so I can come in 7th. But if I fail at either of those then I need to know who he is playing second round, so I can hopefully avoid placing in that spot.

If the bastard didn't have a pro epic diva then I'd have a much better chance.

I only know that #1 and #2 meet in finals, if they don't lose prior to that. So if he is #1, and you place #2, it should be good.

Reward is Chris Jericho. Again LEFT alignment. Too many of these. I already have The Rock and Kane. Bleh.

Yeah I know 2 and 7 are safe spots but I'm in 3rd right now and I might not be able to overtake the 2nd place guy. I think I'm just gonna drop down to 7th. That's my safest bet.

edit:I just figured it out. So I don't want to be in 4th 5th or 8th. So I'm good in 3rd.

So as an example for putting jobbers on the bench...

obJ1207.jpg

It's ridiculous the advantage you have. That was against the person in second. Got to the final and ended up getting double epic Steph... Hnnng

I can't believe how many teams I come across that have mismatched tag teams, first thing I did.

It's easy to manage a team that has one off direction, especially if the one that doesn't match is your ringer and can win any solo match-up. The issue is that the AI doesn't really know how to properly manage that situation.

So this guy in the tournament is 6-29, and I figure it's a good time to rest my starters. Nope. This guy had fully recovered cards and all of his boosts activated. I mean what the fuck. Why? For what? Just to play spoiler? God dammit. And the thing is, his cards are actually good! He would've had a legit shot at winning this thing if he was actually playing at the start

It's all a conspiracy.

That happened to me once. One guy was like 2-35 so I rested all my starters and took a nice break from the game. When I came back, I freaking lost. I was so shocked that I thought "I must be dreaming". But no, I got crushed 3-0 with all of his starters fully rested up. And most of them were actually really good to a point where he would be a top 5 seed if he actually tried.

Why do these people do this lol? I mean they have no chance to qualify at that point. Why suddenly be dicks and make things more complicated than a free win for us you know? XD
