I'm curious, would Nippon Ichi's PS4 game be at this conference? They do plan on announcing it for TGS, it's very likely a Sony platform exclusive (PS4, I believe), and is probably a new Disgaea game.

Well FFXV isn't just any multi platform crap. Especially considering the history it has had with PS before it went multi platform.

Announcing that a side game is now a mainline game and announcing a highly anticipated sequel are megatons. Announcing a release date for games we know are coming shouldn't be.

I can see how it can be though, since square is so fucked up that seeing a release date for these games are huge news.

Have you seen how other Japanese publishers unveil their shit? I'm fine with it, but niconico streams with boobs, gravure models and porn stars is not exactly how most people are used to game announcements.

Pretty good chance. At the very least, the next Disgaea will be at TGS in some capacity. It'd be cool for it to get the spotlight, especially since it's been hanging around Playstation systems for a good few years now.
