Components:
Intel Core I7 4790K
EVGA Mini-ITX CPU Cooler
ASUS Z97I-Plus
16GB Crucial Ballistic DDR3 (1600)
ASUS R9 290X w/4gb of DDR5
LG Blu-ray Drive/Re-writer
Seagate 2TB Hybrid Drive
Corsair Obsidian Mini-ITX Case - 250D
Corsair 750w PSU (CXM)
All in all, this ran me about $1350.00, largely because I found an open box R9 290X for $400.00(!!!!). Also, because Microcenter gave me bundling discounts on the CPU, Processor and Video Card (the latter of which I thought wouldn't qualify, but it did!).
Side note: Probably one of the most challenging builds I've ever done. Numerous components turned out to be faulty (all of them Corsair--wtf), and the wiring was a pain in the ass, even though the Obsidian is a very thoughtful case.
