Don't get me wrong. Guilty Gear has always been pretty "anime" and while that doesn't appeal to certain crowds, I'm not one of them. I love the aesthetic and as I said before, I love both Blazblue and Guilty Gear, but for different reasons.
It's just to me, Guilty Gear feels more like "classic anime" with a bit of heavy metal influencing the character designs, whereas Blazblue is more "modern anime" with everything design-wise being super overdone and extravagant with no room for subtlety.
If I had to pick individual elements, while the outfit definitely seems very much what I expect from Guilty Gear, the way the eyes look and the massive cleavage window seems out of place. Only Baiken had anything like that going on in Guilty Gear and she was a one-armed samurai. It was more meant to add to her character and serve to make her more badass than this seems to be.
Honestly, maybe I'm just over-analyzing things.
