I doubt she is in Smash, i'm just saying that if they wanted to add her in Smash they could, irrelevant of whether they have a Sega character already (Sonic).
If NoE doesn't have it, we'll never get the release date >.<

My friend who owns a Wii U, told me I could borrow his console to play this if I wanted to. Pre-ordered the game the second I heard that.
That's not my point, I recognize the possibility of more characters. The issue is that Bayonetta's sexual mannerisms would have made her mandatory to put in the ESRB footage. For reference, Tharja's ass

Wasn't the ESRB rating only for the 3ds version? The Wii u version could launch with snake/Bayo/???? That can also be t-rated dlc for 3ds later. Is there no precedent for dlc having a higher esrb rating than the game it supports?

They did a Direct for The Wonderful 101, and it didn't help.
Granted, that was pre-MK8 when nobody had a Wii U. As opposed to now when only a handful of people do.
See my earlier posts. Sonic already included, not I'm the ESRB leak when she would have been the biggest culprit to push the now-E10+ game to T. The odds are sadly stacked heavily against Bayonetta for Smash.

That depends on if Nintendo funds development or not. Sega is still the owner of the IP.
Sega could say no.
And then say put another sonic character in, which would be the likely scenario.

I really doubt the photos we got from the leak are ALL the ones sent to the ESRB for rating.
The game would have been rated T if Bayonetta was in (for reference, Snake pushed Brawl to T).

I would hardly call Bayonetta iconic.

I haven't seen much of the other guys on camera, but Kamiya was pretty good on the W101 Direct. I'd be fine with him hosting this with NOA dubs.

I was just thinking that we haven't heard much from the game and it was coming out really soon. There's a lot of stuff to show off and I'm looking forward to it.

It showed a bunch of stuff that don't make sense while also showing half the game. Slow-mo and explosions every second for 10 minutes don't sell your videogame very well, especially to people who never heard of it.

DLC that changes the rating of its game requires the entire game to be re-rated. Not to say it's impossible, but no company would do it.
This is all stupid, anyway, Bayonetta isn't going to be in Smash and I'll be happy when every single thread doesn't devolve in to these character discussions.
No one ever wants to talk about the damn game, it's always about what system it's on or pie-in-the-sky mental defecation about whether the character will be in Smash Bros.
