PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | September 2014

Is there any way to see all the vita games you own in one place? No filter on the download list and mines absolutely packed with PS3/4 stuff as well. I want to check out some of the plus games I never bothered installing after "buying" them but cant be bothered to spend hours trawling through my download list.

Not that I know of. I keep a google doc of my own records for what I download because the download list is so shit. Your best bet is to scroll down the Vita's download list because it doesn't show PS4 games and you can't download PS3 games, so anything with a "download" button is a Vita game. The list is kind of slow to populate though.

Inafune said Vita is for game creators while 3DS is for businessmen.

Gunvolt is exclusive to 3DS. The spinoff game, Mighty Gunvolt, was given away for free to MN9 backers and early bird Gunvolt purchases.
Isn't that basically just an Inti Creates game? I don't think he was in a position to choose the platforms by himself.

Thanks for the link. Here is the answer for his question:

We are working closely with Sony Computer Entertainment to look into ways to enable upgrade from the Blu-ray disc version of Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition to Minecraft: Playstation 3 and Vita. We’ll have more info on this closer to release.

So there's still a chance, sweet :)

Third-party developers are kind enough to throw the Vita a bone and make their games multiplatform, but Sony won't be so kind. They'll make it PS4-exclusive and leave it be.

Eh, who do you think convinces developers to make games for a platform that sells only 3-4 million a year?

She's awesome to play, and I'm just some minutes in (so many new things today that I couldn't focus on one).
Velocity 2X is cool. Didn't fancy TxK. Yet to play Joe Danger.

And I'm all in for expecting SS2 next week. If there's a hype train, I shall board.

So i just logged on ps4 to see on my friends list someone says playing driveclub, is there a alpha or beta or something i don't know about?

Velocity 2x is amazing on Vita, very fast loading times, slick presentation, very playable and fantastic music. It's a bit odd how the score is so hard to find/small, but hey!

Don't Starve is a perfect port. Best place to play this game if you ask me, and I own it across all platforms.

Joe Danger makes me worried about No Man's Sky, it's fun, sure.. but feels like an IOS game with obnoxious writing/designs. "Team Nasty"? And it has the honour of being the first Vita game I tried that opened up with a black-screen glitch (the game wasn't rendering anything except the HUD) on my first try.

PlayStation All-Stars is obnoxious, it had a decent concept but the character selection, lack of cohesive art style, and presentation style are a huge let-down. It seems fun enough to play, but it feels like a game designed by interns. What's with the wretched intro music?

Meanwhile, I clicked on the 'New Arrivals' banner that is new in the PS4 Store app 'Check out what's new!', and it takes you to a PS+ Subscription page. Fuck you Sony.

Pretty sure there is a Beta going on, under NDA.

Just downloaded Don't Starve Vita a few minutes ago (it seems that the Cross-Buy is working now) and really like what I played of it :D. The game looks and runs great on Vita; really great art style popping off the OLED screen. The gameplay seems to be fun too; hunting around for materials to build/make things is rewarding :). Only got to Day 3 now but I really like what I've played so far :).

Also checked out the other PS+ games and all of them are great :D.

Velocity X2 is just....way too good. The game is very fast (the IGN review comparing it to the old school Sonic games weren't kidding; the on-foot sections really remind me of the old Sonics but with a blaster and teliporter on his arms) and new on-foot levels/sections are very well done :D. Honestly surprised this landed on PS+, as I would have gotten this at the full 20 dollar price :). Hope being on Plus get the FutureLab guys the larger audience they really deserve.

TxK is really cool too :). The gameplay is a lot of fun :D; the vivid visuals and great music, the tight controls, the ability to jump and the great visual feedback make it a blast to play :D. I know this is not that old (I believe it came out early this year alongside Fez, Luftrausers and SteamWorld Dig) but I would have gladly paid full price if I knew it was this good :).

Joe Danger is cool too. It is really interesting seeing how Hello Games went from a fun bike game to the mammoth beast that is No Mans Sky :O! This game seems to be really fun; the puzzle-like elements to the navigating the world, the bright visuals, the tight controls, and the fun trick system all make this a fun ride.

All of that plus getting the behemoth that it Sword Art Online: Hallow Fragment (which has THREE games worth of content XD!).....I have a lot to play the next few months :).

Are you talking about the

That hasn't come in English yet, right?

I just realized I didn't claim Don't Starve when it went free on PS+. Damn.

I think Joe Danger was made when as there very first game and with that game, it seems to aim high with the humor factor and gameplay that seems to be very Trails-like. I think they got bigger and No Mans Sky looks to have a clean and clear design for it menus (all the trailers and the like had the HUD be very simple and clean).

PSAS is....something that takes a bit to fully enjoy :l. I fully agree with you on the bolded; it seems that Sony gave SuperBot a pitiful budget and they just rolled with what ever they could come up with :l. At the very least, the stages themselves have great visuals and music (love the mash up idea :D; when it fits, it really works well) and the cast feel like they were lifted right out of there games (and control a lot like how they do in there games too). Give it some time, for some it takes a while until you really enjoy it :D.

I have 115 Vita games, and counting. This month will bring me another five games.

Just counted my games via Word and.....I'm just astounded! I have 187 games on my Vita across PS Vita games (retail + digital), PS+ games (includes PSP, Indie and Digital Retail games), PSP/PS1 games and PS Mobile/Minis :l. I...I've never owned THAT much games on one device......

Don't give me a heart attack like that mang...

Have you tried X4 yet?

It came out on the NA PSN Store today.

Thank. It's weird I can't find it when I search "Muramasa". Only 3 other DLC came up in the search list, and I have to manually navigate Muramasa in Vita games section for that DLC.

Eh, who do you think convinces developers to make games for a platform that sells only 3-4 million a year?

Customers? There is a reason they are still making Vita games, and that one isn't named Sony.

Well.....I have it on PS2 thanks to the Mega Man X Collection and loved it there if that counts :D.

I ran out of funds for buy games after getting Sword Art Online Hallow Fragment and thanks to PS+, got the games I talked about. Only recommended MMX4 before due to my past experience with the PS2 version of it.

Still though, I love the game (great OST, Zero is awesome to play as and English VO is delightfully corny XD!), so I'm glad its finally on PSN after all these years :)

! New Muramasa DLC? Bought and downloading

Anyone else with so many vita games that they haven't even played them? I'm talking physical releases here, it's easy with digital.

Man, this machine. Too many games :(

Hi, everyone. I was told to come ask in here but can anyone tell me if the Official PS Vita Carrying Case by Sony fits with the Vita Slim 2000? I saw it on sale at one of my local Target's for $8.

Well, my physical collection is much, much smaller then my digital one, but I didn't put that much time into Ninja Gadien Sigma+ and Mortal Kombat 9 (put at least an hour+ in each game....and stopped playing them).

The former just felt off to me (that game really needs its 60FPS :() while the latter I guess had me lose interest in it despite really enjoying the game (who cannot love a game where you just wreak your foes :D!).

3 new games today (although I beat Joe Danger on PS3). And I've barley scratched the surface of SSD, which has a ridiculous amount of missions.

I skipped out on Danganronpa 2. I enjoyed the first, but part 2 just didn't interest me enough to get it day one. I know people say it's better than part 1. But from the little I've spoiled myself watching a stream. I just don't see it. I'll get it down the line for sure though.

As much as this is a joke, I own about that many games for vita(Well, vita/psp/ps1) and only a handful of those have distinctly questionable content. Demon Gaze and Sword art are as bad as that list gets for me.

It was definitely a joke, referring to that 'Why didn't you buy a Vita yet' thread. Apparantly my Vita is a hive of scum and villainy.

I have not put much time into Killzone, but I only have a few physical games. I have a stack of digital games never touched though.

Oh, I use my Vita only for Vita games, since I still have a PSP and PS3. That makes it 115 native Vita titles.
