Please tell me Donald Trump is losing an assload of money...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trump_Entertainment_Resorts

In early August of 2014 Donald Trump filed a lawsuit requesting his name be removed from the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino and the Taj Mahal facilities since he no longer runs or controls Trump Entertainment Resorts.

It's funny because they paid him in stock so they could still use his name on the properties when he sold most of his stake, and now he wants out because he wants nothing to do with them anymore given their current issues and no longer wants his name connected to any of it.

For 50 dollar chicken wings... it better be a spread that covers three tables.

Edit: Either that, or they hired Emeril to cook in the fucking kitchen.

Umm... at his famous 3-5 star restaurants the damn wings are stuffed and cost $38 less!
$12.00, 1/4th the price, Revel was loony, it tried to bring Macau/Monaco filthy rich prices to the shithole that is the Atlantic City Casino Boardwalk

lol @ banning smoking

It's no wonder an establishment that treats its customers as children who can't perform their own cost-benefit analysis on use of a harmful substance shut down.

Those customers aren't just harming themselves by smoking in casinos. All that second hand smoke hurts everyone, and most people don't want to deal with it.

That said, if the expectation in town is that casinos allow smoking, then I could see a ban hurting revenue. The lack of a buffet and high prices probably hurt more though (Atlantic City gambling isn't exactly high class like it is in Macau or even in Vegas -- you need perks to get asses in those seats at the tables and staying in the rooms).

Man, I've been to AC once and it was pretty nice, despite getting shitted on by a damn seagull. That was 2005.

Won 480 bucks on the machines, guess the crap on my cranium has paid off.

Soon it will be time to buy real state. I wouldn't mind having a beach house in AC for summer vacation.

That price picture, I hope the Bowl size is this big:

I bet you any money those Tortilla chips were 6 bags of Doritos (Snack Size) normal $1 size reserved for Whales, funny no whales were ever seen near AC

seriously lmao that is the one constant amongst all people

don't drink or smoke or gamble or like strippers or clubbing?

everyone likes an international buffet

Dried up pot roast* under heat lamps from 6 hours ago for $7.99... All you can eat... SOLD!
*Gravy Boats are banned due to the great disaster of GB Smash of 2013, please use the ladle where we used to house our 3 day old New England Clam chowder

don't even get me started on how much shrimp i can eat

Atlantic City is dirty, dark, and dangerous. Tons of bums lurking around the dark areas between the casinos.

I went maybe twice, and we went to the ShowBoat it was a fun place.

I had Outback Steak House steak & endless shrimp (first time here), I gave up after 40 shrimps or 5 little boats of those delicious shrimps, 4 crispy, 1 garlic

I though I was gonna be Homer Simpson and get the "Shut it Down" Message, I failed

#Fission Mailed!

That delicious warm Bread + Bloomin' Onion were my downfall, devious bastards!

I like you save $6 if you go for the bucket of 6, everything else overpriced and back, beer reasonable and even discounted!

Trump Plaza closing too, eh? That's surreal. My first big karate tournament was the national event held at Trump Taj Mahal back in like '94 or '95. Good memory.

I think you're all missing the biggest scam: $250 for sliced fruit at the top of the menu.

DAT Honey Yogurt, like caviar, too pricey!, $15 for fruit, $235 for dip

The Chilled Shellfish on Ice doesn't even have a listed price... mother of god, they were too ashamed to even put it up.

It's priced as what it was bought as Market Price... Jesus!

Given the chicken tenders picture, I'm picturing a buffet table amount of fruit.

It's seasonal fruit...

So only shit during that season available, so no strawberries in December!

What the fuck kind of fruit spread costs $250?

These fools were targeting the "I have a private jet and vacation island" crowd...in Atlantic City.

Not sure how the AC market felt about the ban on smoking, but in Tunica (used to be #3 gambling "resort" town behind Vegas and Atlantic City), MGM's Gold Strike has a floor where no smoking is allowed and it's been really popular in the Mississippi market. I think the days of expecting every gambler to smoke is long gone. As a heavy gambler myself, I know a lot of people who have stopped because they're tired of assholes blowing smoke in their face.

LOLOLOL $25 for a bowl of Potato Chips

$45 for a bowl of tortilla chips and some salsa. You know... the stuff a lot of restaurants give you all-you-can-eat for free.

Yep. As Walrus said. It's not really a place for families like Ocean City or LBI. It's really, really adult-oriented.

I'm looking at menus from the restaurants and room service and don't see anything close to that. It has to be a Photoshop.

I don't believe that's real, but that casino was in the wrong place. All the Casinos are going down, because of the slots in Philly and other places.

It does seem like the Atlantic City casino industry is imploding. This will be at least four major casinos to close in 2014.
