Is there a solution to downloads pausing when Vita goes into Standby? Seems to just randomly decide to do so. Disable Wi-Fi in power saving isn't on. Downloading a gig takes forever when this keeps happening!

That's the old bug which occasionally happens, and look like they haven't ironed out it yet. Just try your best to keep your Vita not going to standby when you're downloading.
I'd recommend both DR1 and 2, even if you have no prior experience to the genre. The core gameplay isn't that hard in DR1, albeit confusing at some part for newcomer (I haven't finished 2, so I can't say, but from what I've played, it's improved but isn't less confusing). The main charm, as usual, is how the story is told and the characters. It utilizes the popular game "Rabbit Doubt" where you don't know who you could trust and who will betray you, while make you attach to the characters with the storytelling/social link parts of the game.
Regarding why people consider DR2 is better than DR1 not only because the cast/story pacing but also how it presents the case. I'd say DR1 is at "entry" level, since halfway through the cases you could vaguely guess the method, the outcome or the murderer. In DR2, until the class trial, everything is still confusing with all the clues I gathered that I can't string it together in my head what's happened and how. I finally feel like it's a true "debate" since everyone presents their opinion and perspective in the trial, and throughout the course thing is starting to make sense. That's only the first chapter, I told ya.
I know I don't need anymore games, but how are the DR games? You and everyone else are saying DR 1 and 2 are very solid games that are Phenox Wright + Persona + Zero Escape in terms of gameplay styles (PW's cases, Persona's social interactions and ZE's VN-esc look/feel). I never played PW and only played a little of ZE:VLR, so would you guys recommend DR 1 and 2?

Don't Starve should be cross buy with the PS4 version if you picked that up on PS+ for February.

I've unchecked the "wifi in power save mode", and kept the Vita charging while I'm sleeping. I've finished downloading Atelier Totori + PSABR + SS + Pixeljunk that way.

It seems to be tied to the auto standby time. I timed 10 minutes and it stopped, i then changed the auto time to 30 minutes and after 10 mins it didn't stop. Might be luck. Will keep trying.

It can help to just put a blank MP3 file on your Vita and play it on loop.

You can then put your Vita manually on standby and the download should continue.

Well dont get any of those two. Innocent Life is shit and Harvest Moon is the lesser evil. But both are not worth getting.
I still just set a slideshow running in the photo gallery. Not a very elegant solution, but it works!

That reminds me...
I couldn't get this game off my mind back then, then I played Time Travelers.
I know most people won't like TT that much, but I liked it so much that it got me off the Extreme Escape (Zero Escape). By the end of it, I was wrapping myself about the time travel stuff, debating myself about what I think are loopholes and answers to those loopholes.
P.S. If you are a Sawashiro Miyuki fan, then I'm here to tell you that this is her masterpiece. THE masterpiece as far as I have seen of her performances.
P.P.S. Don't watch any of the trailers. It's too "spoiler-y". It's just far better to go in without knowing anything. You can play the demo to see what it is like.
P.P.P.S. If ever got to play this, do not do the TT Phone thing. It is not worth your time.

Ive just turned off auto standby and plugged it in. Can't believe a bug this old still exists.... Vita needs some PS4 stability!
Thanks - I'll avoid then. Pity they're the only ones available in EU.

You can't actually turn off auto-standby though, right? Though, now that I look, it seems like they added more time options at some point... I think 10 minutes used to be the maximum, and now it's 30. When did this happen?
It doesn't wobble when you push it, though, unlike the PS4.
The 4th DLC of Muramasa is great. It's pretty light hearted so far. Perfect to get a break of my mind in between Danganronpa's chapters.

If you purchase the bundle you will get OlliOlli on Vita, Ps3 and PS4. That was a week ago for me.

I think the core gameplay is kinda bad.
Just realize Neptunia U was released in Japan recently. Any folk played that game? I'd love to have some impression about how import friendly it is. I can read Japanese fine if it's just some simple conversation, but when it goes to stuff like crafting materials or complicated skill set like those effect from Yugioh, I'm kinda lost.

Just got don't starve giant edition on vita free. I guess its because I got don't starve console edition free on ps4 through PS+. However I never got the giants dlc for it but vita version includes that anyway.
I was assuming you would need the giants dlc to take advantage of the cross buy but I guess not.

I second the call for Neptunia U impressions. This or Hyrule Warriors is probably going to be my first Musou game. I hope it at least has flashy skills since the gameplay just looks...musou.

It is easy in terms of skill level. The school mode at the end of the game can be a bit tedious and is about 6-8 more hours if I recall correctly.
