Where I live, everyone gets treated the same, I didn't mean to offend you or anything, it just genuinely seemed like an odd request, because to me, everyone's the same, so it doesnt matter what race they are.

I highly doubt that this is true to the full extent you might think it is. Different people from different background often tend to have significantly different life experiences. Even if you personally treat everyone the same, and think everyone else does too, prejudices you might not realize exist probably do.

Your question wasn't an offensive question to ask, it was just very naive. No matter how much peoples' interest might be similar, their lives, perspectives, and and stories will probably be very different in ways that could bring tremendously interesting things to a podcast or other sort of show.

It's kinda odd we don't have as many prominent black people in the videogame media. Last research I heard, was that black children play games more than any other major ethnic group.

I don't see why wanting to listen to some of the unique experience gained from being a black person playing games (online racism, duversity) can hurt.

I think Hiphopgamer have a podcast but I'm not sure. There used to be this awesome podcast a while back which hhg plugged on one of his shows. It was good because they used to talk about mostly fighting games and didn't really have much bias like most podcasts at the time flaming the console war fuel
