P3 Hero sounds a bit different than I expected. These seem to be pretty similar to the ones Atlus pushed out in Japan tho.

They were voiced in the JP version, so yeah.
P4 Hero has voice if you're on P3 side, and vice versa
Didn't he and Yosuke have the same voice actor for NA versions in their own games? Do we know if they switched up P3MC or if it's just the same voice actor? He sounded a bit different.

I really like the font choice they used for text in the English version.
It's the same actor, yeah. It's just different VA direction than how I expected them to handle it.

You can tell they didn't have this very well planned out in the English release. Nothing like having Yuri Lowenthal playing P3 Hero and Yosuke... He's a good VA, but he lacks range, his characters sound near identical.

So if you play Persona 3 side, then you can hear Yu's voice and not Makoto's? Mess. I want to play the P3 side but also hear his voice.

This is what makes me torn between which side to play though. I've seen plenty of the P4 characters so it'd be nice to roll with the P3 crew again after all this time. On the other hand, I really want to see the P3 MC is with actual dialogue this time around and have already seen Yu like that enough...

Did you watch the opening movie? It starts all nice and cheerful, bu it quickly gets pretty dark. And I remember some Atlus devs. talking about the general tone of the game, and they said it could get pretty dark (it was in one of the early interview, iirc).
Anyway, wish Atlus included the JP voices, but heh, just getting the game is enough for me
